A handy way to keep track of everything that you read, and usefully connects with kindle so it updates your reading progress for you. I look forward to completing a reading challenge that I set myself on Goodreads, for the past four years I have apparently been overly ambitious :(

It has definitely saved me from repeats! :)

Piggie is teaching all her friends to dance, but Gerald might prove to be a bit of a challenge. Lots of laughs and a sweet ending make this one a winner.

I've been away for a while, mostly due to covid and family stuff. I'm trying the '31 nights of screams' challenge, that's 1 horror movie a night for all of October, and I've come across a couple of interesting films so I thought I'd try to get back to reviewing.

Shakespeare can be a challenge for anyone to read and understand and this book fits in with most readers in enabling us all to get an understanding of the basic story before attempting the more challenging 16th Century English. In this version of Macbeth, the author has retold the story in an easily accessible way that will allow all ages to follow along. Illustrated throughout, the plot is covered with parts of the dialogue showing the original language, introducing that element of Shakespeare to the reader. For me, this book will be perfect for introducing my daughter to the themes in Shakespeare before she is ready to challenge the language, I great idea well presented.

Reading challenge
If you are a bibliophile like me you will love this app. I use it daily and helps me stay up to date with the newest books (which doesn’t help my TBR pile ?) and I can follow other people and see their reviews and see what they are reading. I love writing reviews on the books I read and reading others and this is a great place for all of that. It is also a great way to keep track of your reading challenge to see how many books you read in the year!

It lacks the challenge of former games, and the need to perform tasks to get to gym leaders grew tedious. That said if I don't compare it to others in the series, I enjoyed it as a game with pokemon. And so many new cute pokemon too!

"I have to include Faulkner. With multiple narrators, shifts in time, and sentences that go on for a thousand words, it is an Everest-like challenge. But its epic story of the doomed Sutpen dynasty is a masterpiece of Southern literature. Read it slowly (you pretty much have to) and savor every word."

"A friend of mine turned me on to O’Connor in high school, and I’ve been reading her ever since, constantly amazed at her bold vision and wicked sense of humor. She’s one of the few writers I know who make religion seem like a radical challenge, rather than a source of comfort."

Sundered takes the indie, Metroidvania genre to new heights while showing just how good these types of experiences can be. The game is a blast to play, and its high challenge level, even after you’ve powered up your character
