All time favorite
One of the best revenge stories ever written. I've read a lot of books, both modern and classics, but this one will always be my favorite.
One thing I thought would bother me are the Christian undertones throughout due to being an atheist, but though it was at times very religious, I never found it distracting even after having read it 6 times.

Enjoyed the last film better than the others, there was more action in this movie with Anastasia driving the car fast to escape being followed by Liz and Mia being kidnapped by Jack, had me on the edge on the couch for a while. The story was well done.
Would be good if they did another movie to see what happens with Christian and Anastasia as parents.

I got really into this, staying up until gone 1am last night to finish the last 40% or so. It was both the storyline--bringing down Darius--as well as the possible romance starting between Raven and Christian. That last bit, though, with the forgetting a certain thing had happened...I get it but at the same time, WHY???
I cannot wait to read book 2!

I have no idea as to why I watched this to the end. This was so boring and there was nothing new about this documentary. This was so boring, I got up and cleaned my bathroom, and didn't miss anything.
The choice to do a re-enactment of the dude being in the creepy frat-like Christian org was a bad one. Again, boring.

First off I loved the actress and actor playing the roles both are incredibly and sexy to boot the sex scenes were better in my opinion the story line was a bit more on track with the book but so much was cut out I would love to see the movie made as in the book but take it a bit darker and more erotic only thing I had issue with was christian in the book based to the movie was a way darker person but it's a good movie I'd suggest it to all your friends it's a good date night movie to get you in the mood ?
Veronica Pena (690 KP) rated Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian in Books
Jan 6, 2020 (Updated Jan 12, 2020)
It's interesting to me that I liked this book so much more than Fifty Shades. Partially because I think that Christian is a far more interesting character than Ana - he has much more of a backstory. Maybe it's because I relate to him in a lot of ways. I've read reviews that think this wasn't a good book in any regard, that E.L. James clearly doesn't know how to write as if she were a man, and I disagree. I know a Christian-like man and reading this novel, it was like being in his head too.
However, I have the same issue that I had with Fifty Shades in the dialogue. I do not know a single American that says, "I'm going to have a shower." I'm not sure why that infuriates me so much, but alas, it does. I am anxious to read Darker and the next Fifty Shades.

Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated Survivors (The Coming Collapse) in Books

I really have enjoyed both books by [James Wesley Rawles] that I have read. [Survivors] describes people trying to survive and take care of those they care about after an economic collapse. Sadly this is a very conceivable idea. All the main characters were of strong faith and that was in important part of the story but not all were Christian which was a breath of fresh air.
