This is the first time I have seen this movie since I was a child and I have to say, I liked it a lot more now than I did when I was a kid. What a joyful and heartfelt movie with a lovely message for Christmas.

Loved reading this book. I was in a bit of a reading slump and thought I would give it a go. I've been meaning to read it for a while not so I thought what the heck? I'm so glad I did. It really put me in the Christmas Spirit and I liked the message it gave about spreading love and kindness. Not to mention I love Muppet's Christmas Carol and was so happy to find out how similar the film is to the book- minus puppet dolls.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

I must say I’m a big Tim Burton and Disney fan and I only watched this film this Christmas for the very first time, and I got so disappointed at it.
I mean, the film is quite okay, but in my opinion it’s very overrated.
I loved Jack, but apart from him I didn’t really care much for the story, or other characters or even the songs
It’s not a bad film, it was just way more boring because with the reputation it has, I was expecting to love is as much as I love corpse bride, and I didn’t, at all

A nice coming of age film

An Australian film based in a large department store, mainly the ladies department and the staff who work there. The main story is about a sixteen year old girl who has got a Christmas job working there (mind you it is strange because the film is based around Christmas and yet it is not, they are all on the beach and they keep calling it summer. Anyway back to the film the main character is a 16 year old girl who blossoms throughout the film from help from other members of staff. Enjoyable and a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.
