It's been over 35 years since Mario first appeared in 1981 arcade classic "Donkey Kong," and, since then, he's been in, like, a lot of games (the Mario Wiki estimates somewhere in the neighbourhood of 170).

And now, he's even on Apple's iPhone and iPad!

A mustachioed Italian plumber with a penchant for jumping on the heads of his enemies is, unbelievably, one of the most popular video game characters in the world.

Great Collection
A different take on some classic folklore. My favourite story was the last one but I loved the others too. They had their own twists and turns which made them different from the traditional tales you hear. All of them dark and wonderful.

A myth for a world that never existed.
A series of books that seems to succeed, despite itself.

The language is strange and stilted, the bottom falls out of the structure but it's so evocative and endearing that it changed the world.
