Cruella freaked me out as a kid (0 more)
Disney classic and dog-gone good
I loved this movie as a kid and it still holds up. Endearing, great voice-acting, and just the right length for kids that are just getting into full length movies.

I freely admit that Cruella DeVille freaked me out as a kid though.

Decent Neo-Noir Thriller
This is an interesting film, with all the ingredients for a classic Neo-Noir Thriller. Unfortunately a few plot lines don't really add up by the end of the film. Despite a few unanswered questions the overall feel of the film is classy. If you're a fan of this style and story type, check it out.

family is a bitch
not a bad film as such but when you try to compare yourself with one of the classic horrors of all time you are doomed to fail ,that is what happened with this film ,a great premise but it tried too hard to be an artsy film

Hearing about this classic coming out story I had to give it a go. I was expecting to like it more than I did. While I liked the main character, she was fierce and strong headed, she came across as quite anti-hetero and definitely anti motherhood; I must admit that made me a bit uncomfortable.
3 Stars from me.

honestly? my favorite classic (after P&P of course). It's beautiful, sad, and full of gorgeous moments. i genuinely love this book so much like i cannot express it. the language is simple, which made it an easy read for 2nd grade me, and the characters and storyline played out particularly well. i truly loved this story and everything about it.

This is most definitely one of the best dinsey films ever made. It is a proper classic. Although they have the "traditional" princess in the story, it's not just a story based on her. The songs in it are so catchy, the storyline is just brilliant, and Robin Williams as the genie just makes the film! Defo a must watch

Slow train to the predictable
Another version of an old classic. Being a fan of Agatha Christie I thought this would be a similar train mystery. Being a TV movie and a PG rating made it fairly tame. Quite a lot of scenes didn't add up to very much at all. I'd rather watch @Murder on the Orient Express (1974) again.

Is anyone reading any exciting books for Christmas? I have a choice of "The Deaths of December" by Susi Holliday, or "Murder on Christmas Eve: Classic Mysteries for the Festive Season."

I might take a look at "Christmas at Little Beach Street Bakery" by Jenny Colgan, but this is the third book in a series and I like to read them in order.
