Movie Rating Watch

I am going base this rating on this movie as if i have never seen the original (classic animation).

The visual aspect of this film is incredible, but the characters lack something. It just does not feel right. My son who has never seen the original even mention that as well. He said it feels strange and dose not flow, then ask can we watch the cartoon.

Entertaining.

For a third instalment, many years later, it not bad. Great to see some more classic Dr Grant, and the Spinausaurus is badass! The stuff with the raptor is a little out there, and some scripting issues, but it is with a watch.
It did seem to have divided JP fans, so check it out, and see what you think.

Camelot retelling

Guinevere is meeting king Arthur for the first time so they can be wed. Camelot has banned all magic, which Guinevere is skilled in.
I loved the authors twists on the classic arthurian ledgends. The big plot twist has me desperate for the next book.

Fat lip

Great debut studio album

For me this was one of the best albums of the early 2000's it was a great new punk rock sound and had some really catchy songs that would be stuck in your head. Even now it is one of the classic punk rock albums and some songs like In Too Deep still sound great and haven't dated.

Recommend Me

With all the gloom and doom in the news at the moment I think we could all do with some cheering up. So please reccomend me a film that has put a smile on your face.

Can be an old classic or a recent discovery.

My pick would be 'Blinded By The Light' as a big Springsteen fan it really did the trick for me.

Watched What We Do in the Shadows last night. Such a quirky funny film, never fails to make me smile.

Third and highly regarded installment in the Indy trilogy...I dont consider Crystal Skull to be of the same calibre and it served to tarnish what went before.
This entry is cream of the crop for action as Indy tries for the Holy Grail and bumps into his Father played to magical effect by Connery.
Totally outstanding feel good movie easily an instant classic.
