In a productive period seeing him make four or five films a year, Douglas returned to work for Richard Fleischer in his pursuit for the great epic that would finally win him the Oscar. The Vikings was a star-studded spectacle that despite some memorable scenes between himself and Tony Curtis, falls a little flat as a satisfying film in entirety. A box office hit, but a critical flop, it has to be counted as somewhat of a failure, except for the fact it is one of the better known moments in his career, thanks largely to the powerful visual of Douglas with a dead eye and scar; proving you merely point a camera at him and get magic. My favourite trivia around this film is that Douglas offered a prize for best beard on the first day of shooting, only to turn up himself entirely clean shaven.

Have I mentioned how much I love Fairy Tales?

Well, I really do, especially clean, romantic, mentality stimulating, and engaging ones. Beholden hits all the right notes for me. The quote I shared above sums up and yet barely scratches the surface of the emotions and actions of the characters of this book. Vilmar and Gabrilella have such care for each other and the others around them, they are tested and grow visibly as characters throughout the book. I was sad to see the story end. You have no idea how much. But I am hoping the next book in the series keeps giving my glimpses of these two wonderful characters! And lets not even start on this amazing cover!

I could rave about this book all day, but Id rather you read it to! 5 out of 5 stars for this beautiful retelling of Cinderella’s Story.

Friday the 13th rip off
Contains spoilers, click to show
A reclusive maniac terrorizes a group of young petty criminals who have arrived to clean up a rotting hotel as part of their community service. After one of them is kidnapped, the petrified group must find a way to fight off a seemingly unstoppable foe.

Kane from the wwe, yes that kane stars as jacob goodnight. Jacob has mommy issues, sounds like Jason.

Wait wait, a group of people go to a secluded place, and one by one get killed off. Hmm this is a rip off of friday the 13th.

Anyways see no evil fails on its psycological horror, with no intresting charcters and not really a plot. see no evil fails and the only thing that saves this movie is kane.

In the end, see no evil is a poor attempt at a psychological horror film thats a rip off's friday the 13th.

"The Modern Woman's Guide to Finding a Knight" by Anna Klein
Well Well Well!!! What a little gem this was.
And It's not very often I read a completely clean, no hanky-panky romance and actually enjoy it.
But this one just really appealed to me so I thought I would give it a chance.
And I'm so not joking folks, this is clean with a capital "C" there was one little kiss at the end of the book and it wasn't even a passion filled snog, just a sweet couple second smooch and you know what, it made my girly romantic heart go pitter-patter.
So "The Modern Woman's Guide to Finding a Knight" is a clean contemporary romance that features heavily around the Renaissance Faire.
Connie is a dressmaker in the week but come the weekend she is lady Constance,
Dominic is a software programmer in his day to day job, and in his leisure, he is Lord Justin competing in jousts and making his own armour.
After Dom saves Connie from a runaway vehicle he tracks her down to ask her out but lacking self-confidence he manages to get himself in a right muddle pretending to be his own best friend.
What follows is a very amusing tale full of twists, turns and even intrigue and it was such a delight to settle in and read.
Connie and Dominic are both such likeable characters.
Dom is so obviously completely smitten over Connie and Connie herself is so confused by her feelings for what she thinks is two men.
Also just have to mention Lucas the best friend, he was a hoot probably my favourite person in this story, he had all the best lines.
So "The Modern Woman's Guide to Finding a Knight" is a romance of old, it has a lovely old world feel to it, it shows a proper courtship between two imperfect people, both with a bucket load of insecurities to boot.
I was charmed all the way as Connie and dom found there own sweet HEA.
I would like to thank NetGalley, the publisher and the Author for providing me with an arc of this book, this is my own honest opinion.

its hot hot HOT!!!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

Book title is One Night and the whole book takes place in just that: one night!

After an attack 8 years ago, Gabe hasn't been able to be intimate with anyone. Moving across the world gives him a chance to push himself and at least try. He never expected that Cam would become anything other than one night.

OOOOOEEEEE!!!! New shelf, folks, just for this book! Cos let me tell ya, these boys get up to inferno level heat in that one night!

Cam and Gabe have a powerful and instant reaction, even with a whole club between them, and it carries, right through these some hundred pages, with both of them, independently of each other, deciding that one night will never be enough, but Gabe runs still. His trauma is dark, and could well have ended his life but for a nosey neighbour. Cam's reaction to that trauma is, again, powerful: his need to protect Gabe, to keep HIS man safe skyrockets and Cam realises that he will never get enough of Gabe.

Short it is, but there is enough history of the two men to gab you and pull you in. There is SO MUCH action, let me tell ya, these boys burn high, and hot and LONG!!!

I wrote in a recent review that what I loved about THAT book, was that it was so very CLEAN. But what I LOVED about this book?? It is so very NOT clean!! I actually don't think I've read such a great story, with so much action, in a long time!

Temperature outside? -2 degrees Centigrade (29 F) but inside?? About 500C ( 932F)!!!

Seriously cannot wait for Cam and Gabe's next book. It's not finished, their story, but they get their HFN here.

5 scorching stars!

I’m one of those people who enjoy cleaning. I find it really therapeutic and love nothing more than getting the Zoflora out! Well, other than reading, that is. I didn’t even know about Mrs Hinch until a few months ago, but since I found out about her, I’ve loved keeping an eye on her insta!

Now, before reading this, I was far from being a major hincher. But I still loved trying out her tips around the house.

When I saw this book was coming out, I knew I wanted it, but it wasn’t a ‘omg I NEED it’, it was more of a ‘well that could be good’. So I didn’t preorder it and I also didn’t buy it as soon as it hit the shelves. Instead, I spotted it half price while I was at Sainsbury’s one Sunday, and decided to take the plunge.

Honestly, I loved it! There’s a lot in there about Mrs Hinch herself as well as plenty of cleaning tips! I didn’t even realise that I was halfway through until I put the book down for some food!

Now, a few weeks after reading the book, I’m going to admit it – I’m addicted to Hinching! Fair enough, I used to clean a lot before this book came into my life, but now I spend almost every day off work cleaning, and I love it.

The lists in Hinch Yourself Happy are so useful, and I’ve bought so many things she has recommended and fallen in love with them. I love that in the book, there’s recommendations on what to use, sorted by room and task. It turns the book into an easy reference point for anything cleaning related, and I’ve already gone back to it quite a few times to double check what I should be using.

I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone – whether you’re a clean freak like me, or if you tend to shy away from cleaning. There’s plenty in here to learn from, for anyone.

I received a free copy of this book via Clean Teen Publishing Elite Reviewers which I am a member of. I made no guarantee of a favorable review and the opinions are my own.

When I read the synopsis I knew I just had to read it. This book contains magic, romance and drama and it is about light versus dark {good versus evil} and though at times I found myself enjoying it, I found myself to be somewhat disappointed as well. Jessica is trying to locate/discover more information about her biological parents but by the end of the book we still don't really know anything. Now this could be what the author intended so I do plan on reading the next book. My other issue was that I found the characters to be good, the world building seemed somewhat lacking. I am giving this book three stars and I'm hoping that there will be more explanations in the second book.

A Marvel Classic
What's not to love about a war between superheroes? Probably the clean up... It was an excellent film, with the introduction of the new gen Spiderman and everyone's favourite emo kid, Bucky (who has the prettiest eyes you could ever imagine). This Marvel fan thoroughly enjoyed it, though if I had to fault it (which we won't talk about, because it's Marvel lol) the plot was a little weak, could have been fleshed out a little more, but that being said, I will definitely watch it again :)

He gently squeezes the stories out of celebrities that you won't hear anywhere else!
This is a can't miss podcast for anybody into the genre. His guests include top shelf celebrities from Hollywood and music, not to mention Barack Obama himself! He opens the podcast talking about what's going on in his personal life, including his awesome cats, and proceeds to give a very in depth interview to a notable guest. Even when you've heard this guest on other shows, Marc has a gentle way of coaxing the good stuff out of them. His openness about his substance abuse decades ago and the abuse he suffered as a child has a way of telling his guests that it's ok to come clean to me, I've been through it, too. A deeply personal experience and an absolute thrill to listen to.
