This movie was a complete mess. The plot was all over the place, and they kind of wasted Oscar Isaac. I always love James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender together, but there was close to nil of that action. Michael Fassbender seemed like he hated life all throughout it.
Also, I'm really tired of Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique. Can we please get some clothing for Mystique? I find it really strange that she has clothing in comics but close to none in the movies.

The plot isn’t the most satisfying. The ending makes me grumpy but the song makes me happy. (0 more)

Now this is a time travelling classic comedy, the tech used is clearly from the 80's and the clothing and cars date the movie now, but the story elements are supremely directed and the characters believable and fleshed out, an 80's favourite.

An absolutely incredible film for Wonder Woman! The romance didn’t feel forced and the clothing for the women was actually appropriate for fighting in. The story was enjoyable and I loved Gal Gadot’s portrayal of Wonder Woman just as she should be, she is the perfect Wonder Woman.

This game is a good new installment of the series. It contains interesting new features like rival farmers and competing for fields. It also adds in other interesting features like being able to make clothing to wear and sell. As usual for the series, has interesting characters you can woo and marry.

Last night I remembered a little #LifeHack that has saved me from those annoying and sometimes painful shocks plus clinging static! Simply fasten a small safety pin to the inner lining of your clothing (so no one can see it) and that fantastic little lightning rod will divert all the static! Excellent stuff!!

Nearly nothing likeable about any character. It was more of a scale of who I disliked most and why. I won't go into that. Elsewise the plot seemed obvious, and the ending rushed. I still enjoyed it, especially the integration of two black sheeps in a herd of wolves in sheeps clothing. One needed love, the other craved it ravenously.

This is definitely my favorite X-Men movie, though, I am total trash for anything with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. They both did well as Professor X and Magneto. Personally, vengeful Magneto is my favorite Magneto. I liked the vibe, and the story line. Hugh Jackman's cameo was hilarious. Kevin Bacon was excellent as the villain. The only thing I can live without is another film where they don't give Mystique clothing.

The concept behind The Rook was great, and I did want to read if prior to watching the show. Though, after reading the plot of the show, it seemed to diverge a lot. The story was good enough to be adapted as is, I never understand who makes those decisions.... Then again, I think Stephenie Meyer was involved in the show at some point.
Anyway, so a cool, underground organization of specially, supernaturally talented people exist as a secret service. The lead character, overall, I found likeable and interesting. Normally, I find the amnesia trope a little tiresome.
The one thing I had a major issue with was all the clothing discussion. Do male authors really think women spend THAT much time thinking about their wardrobe? It wasn't necessary, how many times did we need to be told that Myfanwy only had dowdy clothing? Once would have been enough, but it was repeated, over and over. That was really my only problem with the book. I look forward to renting the 2nd book in the series from the library.
