In order to combat my reading slump, I’ve been binge listening to a lot of audio books. Yesterday, I finished How to Hang a Witch by Adriana Mather. I didn’t see the term historical fiction used to describe it, however I feel that it’s a suiting genre considering what the author reveals to us in the afterward.

How to Hang a Witch is read by Mather as well, and I find her voice to be quite suiting for the main character. Then again, the main character seems to be an version of herself that is relevant to the story. With characters that are primarily in high school, it works quite well. I will admit, and this has affected my rating a bit, that it takes some time to get used to Mather’s voice.

Great Adventure
I love the Kingdom Hearts series because it offered great characters and fantastic worlds from so many favorite Disney movies. I was quite excited for Kingdom Hearts III when it finally arrived. The combat is definitely better here and moves more fluidly. The attraction attacks are a lot of fun, but a couple aren't so great. I did have some favorites though and it was always a blast to use them. The addition of mini games definitely adds to the fun of the game. The story itself is interesting with familiar characters and great nods to previous Kingdom Hearts games. I have never liked the gummi ship because the controls for it were always awful. The gummi ship controls are a little better here, but they're still not great. The game is a bit short, but it's still a great game with amazing graphics and fun gameplay making it worth the wait.

It is a good game over all
This was an interesting game. I had heard a lot of good stuff about it and had to try it. In the beginning I can say I hated it, there was nothing to really do and the game seemed overly complex. Later in the game I still looked at it unfavorably, winning combat was difficult and most of the game you are shepherded by the person who first manages to get to the main bit of land on the map. In the end I started to enjoy it, with the strategies which could come into play, actually sneaking in the points, and the multipliers for being a liked person in the game. This game has a lot of potential and I hope future expansions find a way to improve the experience

Too good to miss!
The game starts at the main quest where the MC (main character) is about to be executed when a dragon appears within the village. It is very instructive as to your controls and how you play the game. I found it relatively easy and I was a beginner to gaming at this point. The story progressed as does the side quests. Characters are almost fledged as if they could be real and there are things in the game which you can have your MC marry an NPC and build your own house etc. It is truly a work of art. There are glitches which make the game frustrating, the combat is simple and easily boring, and they reuse the same voice actors for many of the characters which makes it unbelievable in some cases. Other than that.. Skyrim is beautifully made. (It says PS3 cause there was no PS4 option)

Like Fallout in space.
If you have played Fallout you will feel at home with this game from part of the team who made New Vegas and even though it isn't part of the Fallout series it does have the feel of a distant cousin.

Although I'm still only part way through, it is one of the best games I have played recently, it is colourful, fun, tough choices need to be made and feels like things you do actually matter to the world around you...

It would be nice to have a third person view choice as in Fallout and it is a bit annoying when attempt to do a task and you end up drawing your gun by mistake but these are not enough of a problem to ruin the game...

Short and small, but still pretty sweet.
Despite being just an incredibly short spin-off of the Assassin's Creed series, and having only 3 very small maps, this game is a highly enjoyable one!

The story is enjoyable, if somewhat unoriginal, with some definite similarities to ACIII, revolving around saving slaves and killing the slavers. The story also shows very little relation to previous games, except from a cameo from an ACIII character, and the obligatory weird glowy item that adds little to nothing to the story apart from adding a few missions.

Despite all this, the story is extremely enjoyable!

The gameplay is incredibly fun and pretty fast paced, visiting swamps, towns and Mexican colonies, leaving the played wanting more, and to learn more about what happened to the main character after the game.

Overall a great game that definitely deserves to be more than a spin-off.
