Woooof this comic was not needed at all. It was the unnecessary prequel to The Season of the Witch. I got more information from that volume about what happened before than this one.

Very low budget horror not very good surprised to see James Buckley from the inbetweeners in the movie just for comic reflief but I've seen better movies involving pyramids and mummies

Excellent
Good movie, lots of action all the way thru the movie. At the end I was saddened that they could not be together.

came across this book by accident after seeing it as a recommendation at the side of my page and I clicked on it, saw the link to the web-comic and clicked it and before I knew it, I was devouring this book/story/comic.

I was so easily drawn into it, flipping through the pages like it was going to last forever and then it just ended...the creators got caught up in real life, getting jobs and finishing school and the comic was no more. *sob*

I initially wanted to cry at finding this out; the comic was so good! It was funny in places, sweet in others, sexy at times, serious at others. I wanted to see how it was all going to end. Unfortunately that didn't happen but the creators did write an ending for each of the budding relationships in the story and I'm more or less happy with it.

I LOVED the artwork for this. The duo is very talented and I wish them luck in future endeavours!

Spider-Man (2002)
Spider-Man (2002)
2002 | Action, Sci-Fi
The first major blockbuster Spider-Man movie hasn't aged particularly well, but it's overflowing with charm and a great cast.

Watching this as an adult is still as much fun as it was back in 2002 (when I was a fresh faced 13 year old). Tobey Maguire, Willem Defoe, James Franco, Kirsten Dunst, Cliff Robertson, Rosemary Harris, J.K. Simmons - all of them are really well cast and bring their comic book counterparts to life in a way that captured the imaginations of comic fans everywhere, all backed up by a fantastic score by Danny Elfman.

It's faults are few, but mainly in line with the first X-Men film - it's just doesn't quite stand up compared to comic films today and suffers from sub standard CGI and an early 2000s time stamp - I must say though - I have a special kind of love for the borderline Power Rangers villain costume that Green Goblin gets to wear...

Spider-Man is an important milestone in bringing comic books to the big screen, and will surely be enjoyed for years to come.

Brilliant comedy.
Just a brilliant superhero comic book movie.
What a team of superheroes, all in one movie and if you're a Marvel fan - this will feel like Christmas!
