Hey folks,

So I am finally back to writing reviews on a regular basis and it is all thanks to an awesome site called BGCP.

The site formerly organised comic cons up in Scotland, but more recently are looking to expand and establish their online reputation.

And if you would like to take advantage of a fantastic opportunity, they are currently looking for more writers to join up.

Please note that this is not a paid gig initially, but if you are looking for more exposure for your reviews and like the idea of working with a bunch of talented, like-minded people then this is for you.

The reviews will all be comic book based, this includes MCU and DCEU movies as well as reviewing graphic novels and comic books themselves.

The second of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films is a shining example of a comic book sequel outshining it's predecessor. Everything is better, the set pieces, the characters, the effects, and the stakes are higher.

Spider-Man 2 owes a lot to Alfred Molina. His performance as Otto Octavius, and later, Doctor Octopus is pure villainous perfection, whilst lending the character a sympathetic undertone. Spider-Man has a fantastic rogues gallery to chooses from, and Doc Ock is one of the more complicated ones. This movie does the character justice.
Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, J.K. Simmons and Rosemary Harris all return from the first film and all cement their positions in movie history as these beloved comic characters.

The effects look a little dated by today's standards, but they're still more than passable, and another great score by Danny Elfman is the cherry on top.
Spider-Man 2 is both a strong sequel, and a strong comic book adaption.

Totally over the top action
OK low budget comic book horror
Part of the the grindhouse feature with Death proof, although I preferred that over this just. If you like like gory, zombie like stories with crazy plots, this is for you.

These are my go to "I need a laugh right now" books. I have yet to be disappointed. Where Bennett and Gardner come up with their wild characters and scenarios is beyond me. They are comic geniuses! I really can not recommend them enough.

Had'nt seen this film in 20 years its okay not perfect so so acting best part of the movie is spawn himself if only they had more time on the movie it would have been so much better movie more like the comic

The movie version of this beloved comic book character stays almost true to her drawn counterpart. She has compassion and a drive to do good in the world.
