Just as useless and spurned as the piece of shit movie it accompanies - but actually slightly better because the scrapbook animation is cuter and more effective in its pure cheapness, oddly enough. Plus it's only like three minutes long, unfortunately however it still features these unbearable comic relief side characters someone thought was a good idea to lump all into their own movie together. If Disney is going to keep re-doing their own tropes for decades to the point where the films become rendered into the equivalent of radio buzzing I'd much rather have them look like at least semi-decent corporate stank like 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘻𝘦𝘯 2 and π˜–π˜―π˜Έπ˜’π˜³π˜₯ than this type of bunk.

"Weird Sex. Obsession. Comic Books.” is how this film was billed. Each category alone is enough to put this on a top ten list. Crumb falls into a rare group of documentaries. A hero like R. Crumb is so reclusive and so fickle about who he allows to get close to him, but close they get. He’s a Slob over Snob for life. This film is more about Charles Crumb, the hidden master in the family, then it is about Robert. The art alone, like with many Criterions, is a reason to own this and present it on a shelf. Though here, there’s something very appropriate about having a DVD among your old issues of Weirdo or Zap. "

It's a still-on going comic but what I've read so far, probably a good 60-70% of it has had me smiling like a loon at the cute relationship between Milo and Liam. There are some really cute scenes where they just mess around, teasing each other, and some more serious ones like Liam not daring to tell his dad that he's in a relationship, and that it's with another guy.

I'll keep reading it but I don't think my rating will change. Solid 4.5 stars!

Update 30/12/16: Aww, they moved in together. And Liam's haircut due to paint mishap. I hardly recognise him but I do like the style more!
