"A movie I like very much by Roberto Benigni. It’s a way of talking about a very serious matter through a comic form. A touching form. That was a new way of speaking of a moment in the history of humanity. Very painful. [Having worked with him on The Tiger and the Snow], Benigni is somebody who [writes] the script and he is somebody who [interprets] the script, but he will let you very free. He is not a dictator. Basically, he is a poet. Somebody who sees the world through his own eyes in a poetic way. [The Tiger and the Snow] is a movie I like because he wanted to talk about the war through his eyes, and it is a very honest movie. Very"

Hunt this down
Available now on Sky Cinema I just missed this at the cinema when lockdown happened. From the Producers of @The Purge (2013) it has a similar premise to that and @Hard Target (1993)
A bunch of strangers wake up who knows where and soon realise they are being hunted. Some have heard of "Manorgate" an online rumour of a large estate where people are hunted and killed because of their political opinions.
It's very tongue in cheek, darkly comic humour but with plenty of blood splatter. Some of the jokes are hit and miss, but overall it was a fun over the top film for the short run time.

"I just had such a love affair with Indiana Jones when I was a little kid. I used to dress up like Indiana Jones and my mom would hide jewels in the house. [Laughs.] I loved Connery. He’s so good. It’s kinda hard to have such an established character and then to come in on the last one and play his dad. Also, I just loved the “cup of the carpenter” and him trying to find which cup it was. And I loved all the booby traps. I’d never seen Star Wars or Star Trek or all that stuff — and I was never really into comic books — so for me, Indiana Jones was really my only hero as a kid. He was awesome."

I seem to have a thing for Yaoi--Boys Love--and since I like my M/M Romances, why wouldn't I?

This was kinda cute once it got going. I wasn't sure what it was going to be like but once I started it, I fell into it.

To me, it read like a typical M/M Romance--a friends to lovers sort of thing, only they were step brothers.

I just have to admit I like to see it happen, because I don't always have the best imagination with books, I don't picture my characters in my head like others do. So having the comic strip helps me a lot.

Off to start Brother 2 to see if it's as good as this one.
