Whoa!

So much happened in this it's hard to know where to start. Let's go with Riley and her big mistake, though I wouldn't have seen that coming with Ori. As for Beck, I kinda wish he hadn't done what he did with the reporter and then stormed off at the end... Those two just need to sort it out and get it together already instead of hurting each other with their barbs.

Straight onto Forgiven and going over to Amazon to buy Foretold, so I can finish this series. Hopefully it will get the ending I want it to have!

"Then each one becomes more difficult as I go along. On the Waterfront — you go straight to Marlon Brando. It was a good picture all around, a good script, and Kazan directed it brilliantly. And the shooting on location, I would assume they would have never shot in a studio — the look of the film gives a great sense of realism, that you are there on the waterfront, you’re there in cold weather, you can see the breath coming out of the actors mouths. I would say it’s probably — probably — Marlon’s best performance, although you would have to give a nod to Godfather."

Creature feature from the year 2000, starring a then up-and-coming Vin Diesel as the anti-hero Riddick, one of the survivors (that includes Farscape's Claudia Black!) of a crashed spaceship on a planet that has a unique day/night cycle: no nights, except for an eclipse once every 22 years. Which is when the rather nasty nocturnal creatures come out...

Much better than the direct sequel (there's a reason the third film in the mid 2010s went back to this version of the character), with an interesting colour palette and even a nice character arc for Riddick!

The movie takes the audience on a ride through the typical life of filmmakers and performers inside the entertainment industry and captures the real life context beautifully through intricate directions in realism.

Whereas this movie this movie hits ominous tones of sad context, there is just enough comedic relief to make it a perfect heartwarming date night movie.
