This is now the earliest bought book on my Kindle, coming from March 2014 and since that's nearly 6 years ago, I think it's high time I read it, so here goes.

I struggled with this from the start. I just wasn't connecting with the story at all. My interest heightened a little at the introduction of Alex but then it started to wane again at their antagonistic behaviour. But i realised they had some sort of history that she couldn't remember.

It seemed to take forever for her to piece it all together (view spoiler) I even figured out who the bad guy was going to turn out to be after that vision she fell into.

I also wasn't interested in the thing she had going on with Alex and that's the stuff i read book for, the romance.

I won't be continuing the series.

"I had a copy of Nevermind on cassette, but In Utero is one of the first records I can remember being released and it meaning something to me. The production is what I loved; it remains one of my favourite records. At this point I was playing in a bedroom band and we were trying to play AC/DC and Iron Maiden and it was really hard; we had neither the skills nor the equipment to play that music. Then In Utero came out and within two days we were covering Rape Me. The guitar on that album sounded like the guitar coming out of our amps, and the drums sounded like the drums that we had. It was hugely empowering for me. It meant that the music I loved was within reach in a way it had never been before. That blew my mind."

The names Bond.... James Bond
The latest (at the time of writing) James Bond movie, this is both the 25th in the series and the one that is was much delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

It's also Daniel Craig's last outing as James Bond - the only actor whose Bond, I believe, has an arc across all the movies in which he starred, from his earliest days (Casino Royale) through to missions when he was in his prime (Skyfall) and finally - here - coming out of retirement for 'one last mission'. Daniel Craig's Bond is not the only returning character: Felix Leiter, M, Moneypenny, Q, Madeline Swann, and even Blofield all make a return.

Billie Eilish's theme song is completely forgettable, while I was also a bit surprised by the ending. Didn't mind it so much, though, as those who walked out of the showing I went to!
