"Sorry to pick this. Just saying the title's enough, really, isn't it? I know it's really obvious, but it's such a masterpiece.

It's been strangely hard picking my albums for this, as lots of things don't resonate with me now like they used to when I was younger. I've been listening a lot more to classical and choral music in the last year, for example, but this fits in with that, because this is sacred music. It's music that transcends genre. Every track is profoundly beautiful – and I say that having liked Talk Talk before this, too. I remember the first album coming out at the same time as Duran Duran's Rio, and people comparing them, then hearing The Colour Of Spring. 'Life's What You Make It' was a big song when I was at sixth form. But this album… this is a bigger thing. I still love it so much.

I finished this a little after midnight last night and am once again compelled to give this 5 stars.

This one was a lot happier than the first, they actually have a proper relationship, not the sneaking behind everyone's back kind of thing they had going on in the first. I am a little confused though as to whether their stories been concluded with this. I know there's a third book coming soon, Braille, but does it continue with Alex and Jesse or does it focus more on the band members?

I have so many questions after reading this too. What was wrong with Cord? Who was the girl? Who's Beth seeing?

Anyway, I'm glad that everything's out in the open regarding Ethan and Alex's parents abandonment. I still have no idea why they ran off and left her behind anyway, especially her dad. Her mum at least has an excuse.

The Endless (2018)
The Endless (2018)
2018 | Horror, Sci-Fi, Thriller
277. The Endless. So this has to be one of the cooler films I've seen recently. Its about two brothers Aaron and Justin, that escaped from a cult that believed a UFO was coming to take them away, and knowing how these things usually turn out, Justin decides to take his little bro away and escape. Now a decade later, life hasn't been easy, and after receiving an eerie message in the mail from a member they used to know, speaking of 'the end' the brothers decide to see whats been happening or changed. And what they find is pretty incredible. One of those flicks I'd rather not spoil to much because it was really really good. A pretty awesome sci fi story, with great writing and directing, by the stars themselves: Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead! Lovers of science fiction and good story telling watch this movie! Perfect summer read
The perfect summer read! It's one of those books you wish you were lying in a Mediterranean country on a sun bed next to a pool with nothing else to do but absolutely devour this book.

The Husband's secret really rocks the world of those around him, not just his only family but many others too. I loved the skipping between the different families and there was some really great cliff hangers throughout because of this writing style.

Didnt see the chain of events coming together at all. Loved the majority of the characters and felt they were well embellished and thought out.

My only slight criticism is around Felicity, Will and Liam's family as I'm not sure how they really fit into the overall plotline. Perhaps they were there to take you away from the overall story?! Loved the book nonetheless.
