I have always found the concept of HAC (human animal conflict) highly intriguing. The idea that one day the animals will take back the planet? I find this not only completely believable, but entirely possible. The reason given for the HAC in this book (I won't spoil it) is also completely believable, AND entirely possible, in my opinion. I was riveted from start to finish. This may be one of my favorite recent James Patterson books. The story was well told, engaging, and when you really think about it, kind of terrifying.

this book can be read as a stand alone novel. this book has fab characters which just help you get sucked into the story. you will be sucked in and wont want to put it down till the last page. the story has lots of conflict, tension, hot chemistry and hot steamy scenes to keep you reading long into the night. this author always delivers fantastic stories and i cant wait to read more from them in the future.

When Susan Carol's swimming times start to drop, she becomes an Olympic athlete. Unfortunately, the new managers she's signed with are bugging her, and her dad doesn't seem to notice. Is there something more going on? Can her boyfriend, Steve, figure it out? The mystery was very, very slow to get going in this book. Plenty of conflict, but hardly any mystery. And when the mystery started, it felt rushed.

Molly is visiting her mother-in-law to try to escape the heat when she starts on the trail of a missing Irish immigrant. Can Molly find her, or will her pregnancy keep her home and safe? The plot was uneven, although it got better as the book progressed. And I am really tired of the usual conflict with Molly's now husband Daniel. Please, give him something else to do in the books!

The is the end (or is it?!)
Here it is, what the series has been building to. This volume sees Butcher and Homelander move towards conflict, with Vought and The Boys hoping it is avoided/delayed.
Some epic twists in this story, as Homelander's plans to press superheroes' place in society start to unfold.
If you aren't humming the tenpole tudor song every time you pick this book up, there is something very wrong with you.
This should really have ended the story nicely with minimal doubt. However, there was another volume!

Fantastic Social Deduction/Deception game
My group has played this twice now, once with 5 players and once with 7. The more players seems to be a better option as this game scales higher better than lower.

Definitely a game where paying attention to your friends is paramount, and it can be extremely challenging to snuff out those pesky fascists.

Probable the most emotionally involved games we've played recently. So if you and your group enjoy some good natured personal conflict, this game is for you!

Friendships will be tested!
