A great follow up to Feed
A pretty great continuation of Newsflesh, only one star down from the first for obvious reasons I won’t spoil.

One of my favourites
An excellent game, which have you loads of options about how to play the game... Stealth, hacking or just balls-out action.

Lots of twists, turns and conspiracies, and one of the earliest games that gave you the option for multiple endings based on your choices.

Collin Boyd is walking to work one day when he looks up to see…himself walking to work. Thus begins a wild and crazy fantasy adventure that involves assassins and secret conspiracies. Yes, a decided break from my normal mysteries, but the fast paced story kept me turning pages. Can't wait for the next two.

In the 90s, like so many other nerdy guys, I was all over THE X-FILES, esp. for Dana Scully-centric episodes! It was around that time that I got into conspiracies, from anything involving JFK to Roswell and MK-Ultra. The more puzzling the conspiracy, the better! I was gobbling up as much as I could find, and this was before DarkWeb or even just the regular web, with its extensive search engine capabilities.

My wife had told me about this book, that she'd heard something regarding on a podcast. "Invisible midgets"? What? Sold!

While it started out great, it ground to a halt at 45% in! The dialogue between the book's author and Dion, the book's "victim" (?), helped me to secure some much needed nap ignition the one afternoon. Outside of that, it was just a fluff-filled ride that went from being super-interesting and plausible as far as conspiracies to "Yeah, I just don't give a fuck how it ends!".

I'm giving it 2 Stars, simply because the first half was genuinely interesting. After that point, the train became seriously derailed. Sad.

Cracking Thriller
Finally got around to watching one of the most talked about TV shows of last year. It centres around the Personal Protection Officer to the Home Secretary. The first few episodes were very exciting with some great action scenes. The later episodes concentrating more on investigating various plotlines and conspiracies. It's interesting as we get a look into how the Police, Counter Terrorism and Intelligence services work. It all feels very realistic in terms of how the various teams work for the Home Office. There are plenty of twists and turns, the tension will have you gripped to your seat. Perfect for a short tense series.

This is another one that I probably wouldn't have ever read if it hasn't been free, followed by an occasion some time later when it seemed the most interesting-sounding thing hanging around on the Kindle when I happened to be bored. The plot reminds me if Dan Brown to some extent, although I know he certainly wasn't the first to write novels along such lines. Religious secrets, conspiracies, secret societies, competing spies, and a great deal of violence are all tossed together. I wanted the answer to a couple of questions just barely enough to keep reading, but I figured out all the big mysteries long before the last chapter. I think the book would have been much better if it had been edited down to be much shorter.

Baldacci does it again! If I wasn't already, I am now officially hooked on his books.
This particular book is the first in a series about the Camel Club. A group of rag-tag misfits who are hell bent on proving conspiracies within the US government. What's not to like about that!? Of course they all have "checkered" pasts that seamlessly weave into the premise of the book.
I do have to say that I gave this book only 4 out of 5 stars because it took me about a 100 pages before I truly got into the story. Once I was fully entrenched however the action was take my breath away GREAT!
I can't wait to get started on the next installment! I look forward to seeing what is in store for Oliver Stone, Alex Ford, & the rest of the crew this time around.

Superheroes, time travel, doughnuts and talking chimps

Another day another superhero tv show - right?? Well this one is really something special. Was hooked from episode 1. The best way I can describe it is a not as dark watchmen tv series. Bunch of kids with powers adopted by man who turns them into a superhero team. Years later they reunite when their 'father' dies. Then happens time travel, drugs, assassins, talking chimps, bird watching, robots, JFK conspiracies, the apocalypse and doughnuts! Like watchmen this has an amazing soundtrack which adds to the quality of the show. This would get 10 out of 10 but I just find Ellen Page terrible and every scene with her just made me cringe so (SPOILER) when she turns out to be the villain (sort of) I was quite pleased!! Watch this show!!!
