"Tide’s End explores the many faces of sexual assault and human trafficking, and how life can shatter for those most affected – the victims. Because #MeToo is more common than we can imagine. As is #ChildrenToo and even #BoysToo. It tears apart our families and neighbourhoods. And wherever there is suffering, there are guardians and helpers who still the relentless pounding to encourage Tide’s End."

2.5 stars.

It was quite short and sweet but I didn't really feel any connection to the story or the characters and I'm not sure why.

The writing was also a little too stilted/formal for me at times too, so I kept putting me kindle down to do something else and coming back to it after a while.

I'm also not really feeling many contemporary romances that aren't New Adult at the minute, so at a later time I might give this another read and my rating may change.

DNF @ 28%.

I'm not having much luck with contemporary reads lately, the last two being DNF's because they aren't interesting me at all. I struggled with this from the start and after hat bit where Michael was mentioned on the way to the airport, I just knew he knew something about it...so despite the book boring me I skipped ahead to see if I was right...and I was. It still didn't make me want to finish the book though.

Not in the mood for contemporaries right now, it would seem.

Solid sophmore effort from Liam Gallagher
This is a solid album that falls under the singer/songwriter genre. Basic adilt contemporary sound with each song being well constructed. While the whole album is an easy listen, only 2 songs standout for me Shockwave, which opens the album with a catchy hook, and Halo which is a bit more upbeat and cheerful than the rest of an album.

It gets lost in the sea of hundreds albums like this, but a good effort and worth it for fans of Gallagher and Oasis
