Mediocre country/blues album from some former Byrds members. Nothing memorable to me.

The songs are deliberately low-affect, if short on personality compared to her other albums. But the attention-getter is the finale "Inspired," where she writes a folksy country ballad to express some of her fears about climate change

"Read this memoir for a glimpse of a vanished country (ours, circa 1940s/1950s/1960s) that had an entirely different notion of education and the arts, i.e., a country that valued them and honored them and supported them with money and muscular institutions, which institutions, in turn, produced courageous and original national artists like Glass – who is also, turns out, a wonderfully gifted, honest, and amiable writer."

It's hard to say whether I dislike country or folk more. This was less horrid than some of the country I have had to listen to, but still not enjoyable. Quite slow and dirgey at times, while there a couple of memorable songs, the final stages is very slow and not enjoyable.

What a great book! One of the best I've read in a while and really brings the history of our country to the forefront of the story.

Batman doesn't shoot guns and kill people. He's not a cop on holiday in another part of the country, taking down terrorists at any cost. That's me, Goose Willis.

This is my new obsession. Rainbow kitten surprise is an American band that at first sounds like a country band but then becomes much more interesting. Love it. X
