"One hundred percent! I think it’s one of my favorite films. That’s like top three, probably. But yeah, Deadpool 2… Oh my God. Deadpool was amazing, but then Deadpool 2 … I don’t usually like superhero movies, but I love Ryan Reynolds’ sarcasm and the way he delivers everything. I loved all the characters and I loved the plot, and I would just love to work with Ryan Reynolds. Ryan Reynolds is crazy."

"[Electric Avenue] was the first tape I ever bought, and I made my parents listen to it all the time," Levine said. "I probably drove them a little crazy with that, so I am sorry to my parents for that. My family is a very musical family, they appreciate music, but I was obsessed with this tune. I loved that song so much, still to this day. It's irresistible. It's just one of those songs."

"Prince is a legend and this album sealed the deal. From 'Let's Go Crazy' to 'When Doves Cry' and 'I Would Die 4 U,' this album is so great to listen to. But the song 'The Beautiful Ones' melts me every time—his passion is so tangible! This is really an intense song about the deepest longing and the frustration of unrequited love. Whenever I listen to it, it reminds me of that feeling."

"One of my favorites is called Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. It's crazy good! It's quite a long book, but the author captures this passage of time over hundreds of years, different sides of the world, and the stories of different families and how they intertwine and interlace. It's unbelievable - it goes so fast and it's so much to capture, but she did a brilliant job. So if you haven't read that one, definitely read it."

"Beyond the Valley of the Dolls is just a brilliant piece of work. It’s camp, it’s crazy, it’s out there, it’s not cerebral at all, it’s just visionary and against the grain. For me it’s just these female superheroes, and it’s using all the clichés but actually pushing them forward. Every time I think of something daring, I think of this film in particular, and it’s so inspiring whenever I want to do something pop."

"This crazy German took what Sirk had done to a whole new level with only five bucks in his pocket. There’s never been a more precise director working in the low-budget world. I love the delivery of every line here. Love has such small chances in a world riddled with bullshit, and Fassbinder proves that it can thrive only where tremendous kindness is exerted. Also, I will never shun couscous after watching this!"

"“What, is he crazy? Should I get a job and destroy the best years of my life?” A boy, a father, a grandfather live in an old house in the woods, spending their days with feeding the tigers they keep in the barn with hot dogs, swimming in the garage they turned into a pool, riding a giraffe. A children’s book far more anarchic than “Pippi Longstocking” —and more fun, too. Also for grown-ups."

"I am such a blokey bloke and that movie… We’re down at the holiday house, and I’ve taken all my DVDs down to our holiday house, and I’ll just chuck that on, because I know I’m going to laugh at that constantly. I think these three movies so far give you an insight to how crazy or kooky I am. I watched Superbad in a cinema, and I watched it three times."

When Maurice Sendak passed away, I thought it would be only appropriate to review what arguably, is his best children's book. "Where the Wild Things Are" captured the hearts of so many people - both young and old. It is so much loved that they had to make a movie out of it (unfortunately).
