Girl problems
413. 68 Kill. Chip's girlfriend Liza is gorgeous. Liza's sugar daddy has 68 thousand bucks in a safe that she wants to steal. Oh yea Liza is a prostitute and more than likely a sociopath. I know, you shouldn't make judgements about people based on only a few observations... With that, Liza also murders her sugar daddy and his wife, ooops and apparently they had another guest over, beauty, Violet that witnesses the whole thing. Now a sociopath would probably just kill the witness right? Liza does not, Chip is very relieved at this. Liza informs Chip that they'll just sell Violet to her brother Dwayne. Hmm. What to do? Love, makes you do crazy things... That kicks off quite the night for Chip in this violent black comedy. Filmbufftim on FB!

For the first half of this, I was really into it. I liked the love triangle aspect and I understood it. I couldn't figure out how Dana fit into it though, I just assumed she was some crazy ex-girlfriend stalker person - I was very wrong
I have to say I liked both Paul and Stewart, though for different reasons. Paul is very laid back while Stewart is very intense, but both are great guys.
It all seemed to fall apart for me after the half way point. I loved the revelation that occurred, I just cant say I understood what happened afterwards. I expected more of a fight and there wasn't one, which disappointed me a bit.
They both claim to love her so why give her up so easily?
I didn't get it.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the first series: Victoria's with Max Pesero and Sebastian.
It just didn't grab me as much or seem as filled with details like the first one. We didn't read her training, or see as much of her life--or maybe she just didn't do as much as Victoria did, what with all her balls and meeting other ladies and the likes.
t's interesting reading a new series based around one I love but set 100 years later. I like that Sebastian's in it and maybe I'm just a crazy romantic but I'd love for him to get his HEA that he never got in the first series--maybe, possibly, with Macey??
I'll definitely be reading the next book in the series when it comes out.

It started good. I liked his domineering attitude with her once she was at his place but then I sort of lost the plot... Why was he doing this to all these women? Why was he trying to get into the mob boss' good books?
The writing styles seemed a little stilted at times, rather formal, with it not having shortened wording, i.e. what is, that is instead of what's, that's and I found it a little off-putting. That's just me, though.
I liked Colt/Cole right from the off because he'd always loved her and no matter what he tried to make himself believe he couldn't hurt her or let her get hurt (which tugged at my heart-strings) and Rose/Lily was strong willed and also crazy about Colt/Cole.
