Sarah (7800 KP) rated The Devil’s Star (Harry Hole #5) (Oslo Sequence #3) in Books
May 28, 2020
Maybe it's Harry Hole himself. A beyond flawed and almost irredeemable reckless and crazy character, yet one you really can't help but love. Or maybe it's because Nesbo really knows how to write a crime story. He keeps you guessing to the very end and the plot in this story is particularly interesting - an intriguing serial killer mixed in with Harry's vendetta to bring down a corrupt cop. The story in this is just right. The right amount of detail and twists to be thrilling and entertaining yet still plausible.
This isn't my favourite Harry Hole book, the accolade for that probably goes to The Snowman (how they turned such a good book into a terrible film I'll never understand). But this is definitely one of the better books in the Hole series and worth a read.

Lyndsey Gollogly (2893 KP) rated The Cellar (Beast House Chronicles #1) in Books

Ok so I’m not sure about this at all!! The last book I read of laymon I really enjoyed but this one was hard to stomach! The character of Roy made my stomach turn and I find his exploits were way to graphic for me! So why didn’t I just stop there? Honestly I’m not entirely sure! I was compelled to keep reading and in all honesty what little we got about the beast and the crazy windowless house was kinda cool and had so much potential. Yet I find myself not wanting to ever pick this book up again! However I do want to continue with the series see where it goes. So I think it will take some time to read the second one although it’s in front of me.

Deano Arnott (28 KP) rated Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners in Video Games
May 11, 2020
This game has a strange intensity surrounding it the whole time your inside the game. With "walkers" coming at you, people to fight or help and scavenging everything you need to survive, this game packs a punch and certainly delivers a VR game someone can be proud of.
With so many games lacking the length and replay ability, Saints and Sinners looks to keep you hooked as there are so many things to unlock in order to stay alive. Having only scratched the surface if ths game so far, i look forward to revisiting a devestated New Orleans as much as i can. If you love action and horror, and are also a fan of VR then this is the game yoi have been waiting for.
