2018 | Mystery, Thriller
Find this one on Netflix turned out to be one heck of a thriller. The description is a little misleading, but in a good way. The acting and cinematography were great. The storyline unfolded beautifully and had plenty of twists in it. If you're into crime thrillers, this one is really worth a watch!

Is she bad or mad? Mymy
My girlfriend wanted to watch this, I didn't, then she put it on and I was hooked. Brilliantly written and acted crime drama where lead copper, Marcella is falling apart and losing it herself but keeping it together enough to try and get the bad guys. Awesome British TV.

Love it!
I finally started watching Lucifer on Netflix and I'm wondering why I didn't watch it sooner! Lucifer is a wonderful mix of comedy and drama. Crime with a love hate love story. I m officially addicted to this show and I'll be sad when I run out of episodes. (Currently on S2 E12.)

"Like Nietzsche, Genet believed in the "transvaluation of all values", by which bad is good and the ugly is beautiful. Whereas most writers treated homosexuality as a disease, Genet took the stronger position in linking it with evil and crime and sin. He invented the drag queen for literature in Divine in this novel."

"My dad took me to a drive-in to see this when I was eight years old. It was badass then. It’s badass now. The great George V. Higgins contributed a tough but artful new authenticity to American crime writing. David Mamet, among others, owes a lot to Mr. Higgins. And Christ, Mitchum is fantastic."

True crime documentaries are my jam. But, this one fell really short. There were only four episodes, and they didn't really go into much depth on the evidence or techniques for a show called 'Exhibit A'. The cases were interesting, but the amount of time spent on them was frustrating.

Just another Netflix bummer.
