"Gena Rowlands is a force of nature and John Cassavetes’s greatest muse. I saw this movie straight out of theater school and it shook me to the core. Her performance is electric. It was everything I love about acting: raw, dangerous, unpredictable, shocking, alive. You can’t keep your eyes off of her. It’s difficult to explain, but I didn’t know that films could do what Cassavetes does with this film. It was the film that made me see the potential that the medium could have. And it seriously made me want to be in one."

"Half the album's great, half the album's not so great - the jamming stuff. The MC5 sounded dangerous, and they looked it, too. They were serious: Wayne Kramer wasn't acting like a criminal, he was a criminal. There's a difference. They didn't joke around; they were serious about it, and it could be horrible. The first record was the good one. Their potential never developed into what it should have been, but there are always bands who never get to the next level, or who are never as good as their earliest material."

"I don’t know many people who have seen this movie, but it’s great. Are you a dog person or a cat person? Forget Cat People with Nastassja Kinski and Malcolm McDowell—not that the two animalistic movies have much in common other than dangerous, large-fanged creatures and a bit of 1980s spandex. Who knows what possessed Samuel Fuller to cast that straight-shooting seventies TV star Kristy McNichol as the lead? But no arguments here! White Dog is suspenseful, poignant, and entertaining, plus it features some of your favorite Roger Corman all-stars!"

Dangerous Ground I like Josh Lanyons books, this was no exception but I didn't like it as much as some of his other works. This was an interesting read, what with them both being openly gay but not wanting to be together in case it ruined their friendship and partnership of three years, with a kind of mystery plotline. The way the mystery was written in was very good in my opinion and I was intrigued as to what would happen after. However I think the ending was a little too abrupt for my liking.
