This House Isnt A Home
The Strangers- is a slow pace horror film, it doesnt get good until the 30 minute mark. Than slowly it get good, but it takes its time. The best moments of this film was the last 30 minutes of this film.

The plot: Kristen (Liv Tyler) and James (Scott Speedman) are expecting a relaxing weekend at a family vacation home, but their stay turns out to be anything but peaceful. First, a mysterious and dangerous woman arrives at the door while James is out on an errand. When he returns, he accidentally kills his friend Mike (Glenn Howerton), mistaking him for an intruder. And then real danger does show up -- in the form of three masked torturers, leaving Kristen and James struggling for survival.

Its slow and overall a decent film.

"So here’s where, for me, it comes down to either the second Godfather, Taxi Driver, which is [Martin] Scorsese’s best film, I think, or one of two or three Altmans, I guess. And of those three, I’d probably go with Taxi Driver. It’s pretty great, and it’s one of the most dangerous films ever to come out of this country, I think. And it’s got great performances, and it’s got such electric ambiguity in what it’s saying about this guy. For me, that film marks, probably, the end point of that great period of the 1970s. So many fine directors; Altman, Coppola, the freedom of expression. I almost didn’t have the resources to deal with Taxi Driver when I first saw it . I don’t go back to it all the time, because it’s such a handful, but I think that’s Scorsese’s best film."

"Choosing a Cassavetes film was the hardest part of making this list. All his films have continued to inspire me—every aspect of them. He’s one of the only filmmakers where I will put on the DVD just to listen to his commentary. His ideals, his pursuit of the road less traveled—and traveled in a way that is curious, thought-provoking, and dangerous—have always excited me. I take his box set with me to every set. Each film has an incredible backstory, and leaves me thinking, How the hell did he pull that off?! Gena Rowlands is absolutely stunning in every way in this film. And I love watching her and John act together, especially with her drunk during an improvised play for hundreds of extras who showed up because John took an ad out in the paper."

Strange Zombies.
I just didnt understand this movie, the pacing was all over the place, the comedy was all over the place, the horror was all over the place. I just dont understand what this movie was surpost to be. Its not a bad movie, just a strange movie. The cast was wasted, the zombies was the best part.

The plot: In the sleepy small town of Centerville, something is not quite right. The moon hangs large and low in the sky, the hours of daylight are becoming unpredictable, and animals are beginning to exhibit unusual behaviours. News reports are scary, and scientists are concerned, but no one foresees the strangest and most dangerous repercussion that will soon start plaguing Centerville: the dead rise from their graves and feast on the living, and the citizens must battle to survive.

Its just strange.

I put this movie on purely because I saw that the awesome Denis O'Hare was in it. I had no expectations and I wasnt even sure what the movie was about.
Started off with a team of archaeologists making some risky and silly decisions to go into a dangerous place that they were told not to, of course.
Some of the scenes were fairly entertaining but once the big bads face was revealed, he ceased being the least bit threatening.
There is no triumph in this movie and everyone dies in weird ways. At first it seems that it is about creatures that live in the pyramids, but quickly descends into weird god rituals.
Maybe im just pissed that Denis didnt make it, maybe I'm just pissed that I wasted time on this movie XD
