Book Rating
[Zenith: The First Book of Ascension] by [Dirk Strasser] has some interesting characters that keeps the story moving. It seems to introduce the idea of light(good) versus dark(evil) along with the quest for enlightenment.

Twin brothers have to go on a journey to the summit of the mountain for enlightenment. The story focuses on one of the brothers journey. I would have liked to read a little about the other brothers struggles. It seemed that the idea of twins went by the wayside.

Overall it was a good fantasy novel that picked up pace as it went on.

Bait by Jade West
A stranger online. Dark hair and even darker eyes that knew my dirty desires before I did.
A fantasy that should never be spoken. But he pulled the confession from me.
And now he’s coming for me.
Rough. Dirty. Dangerous.
It’s supposed to be one night to get me off and make me forget.
He’ll make me his and I’ll pretend I don’t want him to.
I’ll run and he’ll chase.
Because I asked him for this.
I begged him for this.

Tonight, in the darkness, he’s the hunter.
And I’m the bait.

TV Season Favorite

"My favourite series of all time, I’m not kidding, is True Detective season one, it’s my favourite. I just rewatch it all the time. Matthew McConaughey is so good in that show, it’s incredible. It’s dark, (but) kind of ethereal too. There’s something so mystical and magical about it. Because you don’t quite know what’s real, what’s tangible, and what’s some horrifying fantasy. I think what keeps that show separated from every other kind of crime show is that it has this kind of magical ability to be dreamy, too. It’s just gorgeous, it’s a masterpiece."
