"For me it is one of the most brilliant Mafia movies. Moreover it's the incarnation of the mythical erotic-romantic-tragic relationship between men and women. Beginning with love and ending with death. Isn't it the best description of this endless men-and-women love-hate system? And it's one of the best films about family as well. The protecting nest as miserable, dark shelter from an even darker existence of solitude."

Great storyline, well balanced between dark and light (1 more)
Sweet love story, for the one you can't have perhaps
The first in the series of Amelia and Joshua, beautifully writted
I picked this up for a flight, and hoped to lose myself between the pages. I hadn't realised it was aimed at 13+ young readers but I loved the storyline, with its darker elements and some lovely light touches. Who knows ... can a ghost fall in love with the living?!

Silly B Movie Thriller
Well from the trailer this looked like a whacky oddball thriller. Octavia Spencer is good as the creepy Ma who doesn't mind the kids partying at her place, so long as you keep to her rules. It had a bit of potential but ultimately the ending was a bit of a predictable cop out. If it had been a bit darker and shocking it could have been a lot better.

I should have written the review as soon as I finished the book. All I remember now is that this anthology tended to be much, much darker than most of the ones I read! I'd classify this volume as horror rather than dark fantasy, and paranormal romance fans should probably just skip it altogether even if they do see familiar authors' names. I should have skipped it, and I wasn't reading for any romance. I'm still shivering!

Well done
This movie turned out better than it looked like it would. A little slow moving at first but picked up and got pretty intense. It has an interesting twist to it, too. The acting was good but the cinematography could've been a little better. I thought-lighting wise-it was darker than it needed to be but I think ir was intentional. Overall a pretty entertaining movie that isn't exactly what it seems. Really worth a watch!
