"The voyage is one of the soul in Roberto Rossellini’s unblinking and profound film. An unhappy couple in an unraveling marriage, perfectly captured in the petty bickering of Ingrid Bergman and George Sanders, ultimately reunite. It has the feel of a miracle but is no happy ending. Death and spiritual mystery pervade the film, and love seems but a desperate, painful response to mortality."

Funny- sarcastic humour is relatable. (0 more)

Sad moments-you will probably cry. (0 more)

Something unique. Not like all the other tv shows so entertaining yet its only about everyday problems. Its also deeper in that it shows how people cope differently with grief. It really does walk to line between sad and hilarious as you see the main character use sarcasm to deal with his wife’s death.

Lupita Nyong'o recommended The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life and Freedom on Death Row in Books (curated)

"A shatteringly beautiful memoir about Hinton’s life on death row for 28 years for a crime he did not commit. It’s a real downer to read about something as dark and unfortunate as wrongful incarceration, but Mr. Hinton expresses himself with a heart incomprehensibly swollen with love and gives meaningful insight into his alienating experience. And he does so with a disarming sense of humor."

"Death is one click away when a string of murders rocks a small Colorado town in the first mesmerizing novel in M. E. Browning’s A Jo Wyatt Mystery series."
