A great rainy day read :)
I enjoyed this debut novel by Mary A. Felkins. I thought that both Tracey and Tom were well-rounded characters and I liked getting to know their individual stories. Both characters had some real-life applicable struggles and I liked how Mary A. Felkins had the characters overcome them.
The plot was good and kept me interested and engaged throughout the whole book. I thought that there were some interesting points made and some quotable moments

"I am trying to choose works that cover as much ground as possible and are diverse… I’ve heard amazing things about this book from a person that I trust… The musical is currently on Broadway (starring Cynthia Erivo, Jennifer Hudson and Danielle Brooks) and a film was made of the book in 1985 by Steven Spielberg. It was Oprah Winfrey’s film debut and introduced Whoopi Goldberg (I love both of these women). I’m excited to read it and maybe do some watching too."

"Yes, I have put in our debut album. Think about it, I am supposed to be listing the records that changed my life, right? And nothing changed my life as much as this album did. Without what happened to the band as a result of Permission To Land, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I wouldn’t be doing what I am. So, this definitely has to be in there. It was an important part of what has happened since to me."

In this debut novel, author Moriel Rothman-Zecher delves into both the political and the emotional conflicts that can exist between Jewish and Palestinian Israelis. However, despite the gravity of this subject, the author gives us a novel that is expressively written, that is important reading for anyone who wants to better understand the people behind these tenuous struggles. The tagline for Liv Constantine's psychological thriller "The Last Mrs. Parrish" is, "Some women get everything. Some women get everything they deserve." This is the story of Amber, who comes from poverty, and her decision to change all that by stealing the handsome Jackson Parrish away from Daphne, the gorgeous woman who seems to have it all.
