"The best debut film. He mixes tones so elegantly and it feels very much of the character’s age. I love the scene in the movie where he gets hit by a car; everything changes from that moment, and without the lead character saying a word, he goes through a complete mental shift. It was inspiring discovering this film; it was a directing voice that was really speaking to me among my contemporaries."

Rolling Stone's 275th greatest album of all time

Eminem's second album (though lets be honest nobody has heard his debut album). It is a little rough and ready as he is finding his place and fighting as an underdog. Featuring the instantly recognisable "My Name Is" and the superb "Guilty Conscience" it is a good solid hip hop album that appeals to casual hip hop fans more than more seasoned listeners of the genre.
