This was a good mystery, full of twists, and fast paced. Tempe thinks she knows who killed Hazel and who the remains belong to only to find herself proven wrong. I was kept guessing right along with her. While I really enjoyed the mystery, Tempe's indecision regarding her on again / off again relationship with Detective Ryan was starting to get to me. There was some resolution on that front near the end though, which is why the book gets 4 stars from me instead of 3.

My friend recommended this book to me and man, I could not be more grateful!!! Chris Carter is by far my favourite author.
It's been a while since a book had such an effect on me, as this one.
Detective Robert Hunter has to catch a sick murder, who broadcasts the murders, while getting the public to vote on how the victims are going to die.
Knowing how powerful social media is nowadays, I know that if this was to happen for real, people would vote and that scares me.
Seriously, the best description of murder ever.
I highly recommend this book to any true crime lover.

This is a real mind bending, brain teasing movie that I wasnt to sure about after reading some negative reviews but I'm glad I ignored them as this was a great little film.
A Los Angeles detective discovers his brother, sister in law and niece gunned down and murder.A little while after he starts getting phone calls from his dead niece, how can she still be alive?.After a while he realises that she is calling from the past and the murders havent happened yet.Can he help prevent them from happening at all.

This was a clever little film, not the usual stuff you expect from blumhouse pictures.Definitely worth watching.

Love detective books with some humor in them? Then sneak a peek at the historical mystery novel BAYOU CITY BURNING by D. B. Borton on my blog! https://alltheupsandowns.blogspot.com/2020/03/book-blitz-bayou-city-burning-harry.html

**BOOK SYNOPSIS**
Houston, 1961: comedy meets mystery and history. It's hard to be hard-boiled when your biggest fan and worst critic is your twelve-year-old daughter, especially when she's cracking your case for you and defending you from the bad guys, along with sidekicks human and feline.

Houston is still a cowboy backwater, but Texas politicians dream big. P.I. Harry Lark is out to save the city for President Kennedy's moon mission. Dizzy Lark is out to save Harry.

407. Cam. Alice is a hot cam girl, not really though, we get to see part of her show, there's no realistic way her shows are pulling down that kind of attention, it's the one-eyed handmaiden afterall, c'mon! One day before Alice gets to log on, her password isn't working, annoying. She then has to get the password changed and all that jazz only to find out, she's online right now!! Huh? How? And worse, her replacement is getting better numbers during her cam show, oops. And now Alice has to play detective, meeting up with guys that visit her online room, that's safe, and it all leads to a rather dull, unsatisfying ending... Filmbufftim on FB
