Erika (17788 KP) rated Peter Rabbit (2018) in Movies

Disclaimer: I saw this movie on accident. I went to see Early Man, but the projectionist put the wrong movie in, then left. So, no one was able to change it over. Now, I just get to see Early Man for free tonight.
So, this movie is based solely on the illustrations of Peter Rabbit and his various friends from Beatrix Potter's children's books. The movie was amusing, and I laughed at it, as an adult, so I figure that's fairly impressive. The voice acting for all of the animals was great. I did think the difference in age between Rose Byrne and Domhnall Gleeson was a little off, I know there's only a 4 year difference, but it was just a little weird.

Better than the first film
It is probably getting difficult to tell the difference between some of the solo Marvel films from the Avengers series, but this is another solid entry in the Marvel universe. I found it more action packed and with a better story than the first Capt America film.

Where the books are my favourite series, the movies are in my top aswell. I read a lot. Fact. And it's one of the only series that translates perfectly into cinema. There is slight variations on characters looks but the personalities and characteristics are spot on. There is very little difference in the overall plot aswell. Perfect!

Better than the first
This album is beautiful. The haunting, eerie vocals paired with the almost mystic indie rock creates a truly original sound from Wolf Alice. The difference between tracks like St Purple and Green and Yuk Foo is astounding how they can be collected together in the same album and still be such an amazing sound.
Ross (3284 KP) rated Arrow - Season 1 in TV

Great development series as we gradually uncover the background to Oliver's time spent missing, the important bits revealed as they become pertinent to the present timeline story.
While the action moves quite regularly between the past and the present, thankfully Oliver has an NSync haircut in the past and also an unfeasibly squeaky voice so it is easy to tell the difference.

Not the best in the Marvel series
I found this film a little too repetitive, to the point I can't tell the difference between Avengers Assemble and Ultron, Captain America First Avenger, and Civil War. The story surrounding Bucky is rather boring, and Captain America is a little too over the top with his relationship with him. It's just one big Marvel blur.

B list
Cliche and boring
The idea was good but the execution was terrible. Awful filmography, script and the acting was over done. Seemed to be random decisions that lead to life and death.
At one point we were just focused on someone's stomach whilst the main character spoke to him due to the height difference

The accident happened just as Byron noticed that the two seconds were being added to time, and nothing was the same after that. In this fascinating story, Rachel Joyce once again takes us on a uniquely personal journey.
