This was a guilty pleasure book for me. I really enjoyed it. The Hero was... well... he was a dirty mouthed, pained, sexy, troubled, and all around alpha male. I liked the banter between the characters and I liked that both characters were damaged.
This was a short novel so I didn't get the character development that I would have liked. I liked that there was still some depth to the characters, not enough, but enough for you to understand their motives.
All in all, this was an extremely quick and easy read. If you're looking for an easy smut novel with a dirty mouthed alpha male, this is the book for you.

Good one
This cop thriller was intense. The story had some predictable parts but otherwise unfolded very well. The acting was superb and the cinematography spot on. Another great performance by Chadwick Boseman with a great supporting cast. If you like "dirty cop" movies, you'll really enjoy this one. Worth a watch!

This moved the story along for the first film with some nice call backs to James Franko's character later on.
Overall I enjoyed this but it suffers from the same problems as the first film, a slightly meandering plot that would have been better served by less running time.

As an audio media sceptic, I Was very hesitant when I first tried this out. But after listening to 4 episodes I was ADDICTED! I listened to all of the material they've released 4 times now.
