This is the way
Finally got round to this as started Disney+ recently. Good to see something different set in the Star Wars universe. Set around 5 years after Return of the Jedi. The settings are familiar but not with any particular characters from any of the films. It's well shot and the SFX are good for a short series. Only downside some episodes were a bit slow and general quite short in length. One is under 30 minutes and generally only around 35-40 minutes long. It's enjoyable if not something that will blow your mind.

Good battle scenes

Drawn out sword drama
Missed this at the cinema last year, it didn't get a long run. Now on Disney+ the cast is really good and the trailer looked promising. You get the story as told from 3 different perspectives of the main characters, this does lead to a lot of repetition of some scenes. The battle scenes are good if very short, not on the scale of other films like Gladiator. Adam Driver really stands out above the others in this. A decent film but just a fair bit longer than it needed to be.

IMO, this is the weakest of the Marvel Disney+ series so far.

That may well be because I'm not the target audience.

Iman Vellini herself, in the lead role, is absolutely fine - I just was not a fan of the stylistic touches in the way it was filmed (especially the early episodes) where parts of the scenery transmute into the contents of a text message, while The Clandestine pop up, do a quick heel turn and then turn into cartoonish villains.

Don't even get me started on the absolute waste of potential that was Damage Control; turned into the worst sort of buffoonish armed force imaginable.

So, yeah, not a fan.

Another sci fi movie I've seen today short runtime which suits the movie well the star of the movie for me is katlyn deaver she basically spends the entire movie on her own with the alien visitors thruout the 93 min runtime and there's the lack of dialogue as well which surprised me at first but I got used to it by the end of the movie liked the look of the aliens too. In my opinion this should have a cinema release and not straight to disney plus which is where I watched the movie
