Experiment Gone Wrong

Murders in the Rue Morgue- didnt come out in 1971, it came out in 1932. @Smashbomb should fix that. Anways it was a intresting movie. Bela Lugosi as this evil mysterious doctor was good.

The plot: In 1845 Paris, mysterious Dr. Mirakle (Bela Lugosi) demonstrates his theories on evolution using his ape, Erik, at a carnival visited by medical student Pierre Dupin (Leon Waycoff) and his girlfriend, Camille Espanaye (Sidney Fox). Unknown to his audience, Mirakle performs experiments in his secret laboratory that involve mixing human blood with that of Erik's. After three prostitutes are found dead from being injected with a strange substance, Pierre is alarmed when Camille goes missing.

It mixes sci-fi and horror togther.

Couldn’t put it down

Adam Kay delights us with his diary entries of his time as a Junior doctor. I was gripped from the moment I started and couldn’t put the book down! I found myself getting pulled in with the highs and lows of his chosen profession. There were lots of giggles to be had, and some solemn moments also. But more than this it shines yet further light on those men and women that sacrifice a lot in the pursuit of healing others and the poor conditions that they find themselves working in. Thanks @Smashbomb for picking me in the giveaway, and allowing me the opportunity to read something so thought provoking.

Spooky Scary Roses

The Exorcism of Emily Rose- is a really scary, terrorfying, horrorfying underrated horror movie directesd by Scott Derrickson yes thats right he dircted doctor strange.

The plot: The Rev. Moore (Tom Wilkinson) is prosecuted for the wrongful death of a girl thought to be demonically possessed, because he administered the church-sanctioned exorcism that ultimately killed her. Prosecuting attorney Ethan Thomas (Campbell Scott) contends that the young woman, Emily (Jennifer Carpenter), suffered from schizophrenia and should have been medically diagnosed. Meanwhile, defense lawyer Erin Bruner (Laura Linney) argues that Emily's condition cannot be explained by science alone.

Its thrilling, chilling, spooky, and alot more.

I would highly recorddmend this movie.

Who Can You Trust

Idenity- is a very underrated horror film. It has a good cast, a good plot and a good twist at the end. Its psycholoigcal, suspenseful, thrilling, scary and twisted.

The Plot: When a vicious storm breaks out in the Nevada desert, 10 people seek refuge in an isolated motel. At the same time, a serial killer (Pruitt Taylor Vince) under the care of psychiatrist Doctor Mallick (Alfred Molina) -- who has just found the killer's revealing journal -- awaits execution for murdering a group of motel guests. When the storm-stranded travelers realize they are being killed off one by one, limo driver Ed Dakota (John Cusack) bids to stay alive and reveal the murderer's identity.

Its a really good film.
