"My second favorite film, I would probably say my most favorite documentary of all time, is a film called Brother’s Keeper by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky. Those are the same guys who did Paradise Lost and Metallica: Some Kind of Monster. Brother’s Keeper is this amazing film about a brother who was murdered, and it’s this omniscient journey as the murder gets uncovered and the investigation is happening. You know, they take one of the brothers to court, and the story just unfolds in front of you in a way that’s so twisted and bizarre and weird. This, for me, represents what a great documentary does. It just kind of unfolds in front of you in a way you can’t expect."

Teenage Angst
This is where I would mimic Holden's whiny voice. I just don't have the energy for it, if you really want to know truth. I would always teach this in conjunction with the documentary about the assassination of Lenon and attempt o. Reagan. They were Catcher fanatics.

A fairly average, slow to get going horror. It's basically an Exorcism version of Blair Witch. I didn't know in advance it was done in the style of a documentary. Does get a bit creepy later on, odd ending to which didn't seem to explain it all. Some will like that, others will be annoyed by it!

I hadn't heard of this movie until I took a Decolonization of Africa history class at university. I have to admit, I kind of disliked that class, until we watched this movie.
The documentary style is fantastic, it's gritty and feels raw. The Battle of Algiers is a good example of now a familiar, modern warfare.

Regardless of the subject, and regardless of the level of prior interest you have in it as a viewer, Kapadia’s documentaries are always a must-watch and Diego Maradona is certainly no different. Using previously unseen footage and some fantastically candid interviews, this documentary feels definitive, personal, and crafted with passion. Unmissable.

This documentary showed the behind the scenes of the original Star Wars trilogy. I liked seeing all of the story development and SFX. It's even more interesting now, 15 years later, to be watching this. Since, we're on the eve of the official end of the Skywalker Saga.
If you're a Star Wars fan, it's definitely worth a watch.

"Cassavetes is the man. He changed filmmaking forever, in the most radical way. He is sensitive and loving in his approach. The acting is so good, sometimes you forget that it’s just a movie. The message is always love and the struggle it brings. The best part of this collection might even be the bonus documentary, A Constant Forge."
