After watching the first in search of darkness I had to watch the follow up and its just as brilliant documentary as the first one more 80s horror movies from the directors and stars hell even Chris jerchio the wrestler talking about his love of 80s horror is fine with me. At 4 and half hours long it's definitely worth a watch Longside the first one if u love 80s horror

Poignant, heartbreaking and complex
Another superb documentary film on Netflix exploring the complexities of bereavement, in this case, a family of seven children and their father who took his own life.
The filmmaker follows the journey of the Shanks children, now teenagers and young adults, who six years later are still trying to make sense of their loss. Issues include mental health problems, and dealing with trauma especially with four of the teens suffering from autism. Each person deals with it differently, ranging from creating music, becoming philosophical, to having a full-blown nervous breakdown.
Mother Vikie is incredibly stoic, attempting to keep order despite the horrendous upheaval from the death. There's some disturbing scenes in which the children discuss finding a note in which their father had originally planned to kill them before committing suicide. It is heartbreaking to watch how it has both scarred and shaped the family, but they courageously attempt to pull together as one unit. A must-watch documentary.

Abducted in Plain Sight
I sat down on Friday night and watched this documentary. From a dubious position, my wife wanted to watch it and i had doubts.
Was so good. Obviously its not everyones cup of tea but the way the story pans out is amazing. And if it wasnt true story it would be too far-fetched to make up a story like this.
I would seriously recommend this to anybody that likes true life crime movies and programmes.
I feel so sorry for this family and i would never spoiler any film as it would ruin and alter the vision experience you recieve

Unique Sci-fi film
A little slow to start but once the action kicks in this is a great Sci-Fi/Action film! Filmed in a kind of documentary style for the first half, it has some great action scenes and special effects as the story takes a direction you might not have expected. This is a one of a kind film, really different to most films these days. Definitely not one to be missed!

Visually, the film is full of dark imagery, shadows, and washed out yellows to present the film in a gritty, ‘untouched’ way. At times it does feel like a documentary based on the strength of the acting, and how current the issue is. What we see in the film, we see on the news constantly, and The Flood keeps reminding us of that fact.

Masterpiece
A great movie with great actors. Actors owned their characters. Isn't easy to believe that this is just a movie, and not some medieval documentary. A great story about a very important journey. Be prepared to embark on it with our characters, because it's very long. It has something to laugh about, something to cry about, something to think about. Story about trust, honor, friendship and love with a lot of fighting scenes.
