Unless you're the woman Titus Kroll just fell madly in love with. As a decisive, capable, and newly awakened metal dragon, Titus is used to seeing what he wants and going after it. Right now that's Bree Durell, a sweet, curvy woman who needs help with her house badly and can't afford to pay. Bree Durell isn't looking for romance. She has enough on her plate with a crazed stalker, a clumsy but adorable dog, and a house that's falling apart around her and too expensive to repair. Though there is instant attraction when she sees Titus in all his tall, blue-eyed, muscular glory at Rent-A-Dragon, she's sure she can't afford his fee. So when Titus shows up on her doorstep with an offer she can't refuse, she vows she will only keep things professional, no matter how wickedly talented he might be with his hands.

As Titus and Bree work in close quarters, sharing a home and a few steamy encounters, there are big threats circling. From an ancient friend-turned-enemy, to rogue dragons obsessed with vengeance, Titus is going to have his hands full if he wants to protect his newly-built life.


The last book in this trilogy and we finally see our last brother mated! Titus is my favourite I think. Another short story giving us more shifter fun! Nice to see the precious metal dragons finding some truth and ready to be trained and hopefully find their mates too!

What other readers have said about this fantasy book when it comes to how great it is is true. This story sets on different paths, feeding pieces of the plot to you, and slowly comes together in expected and unexpected ways. From each one information is learned on what is coming and what is occurring. You learn of life, death, betrayal, and war. Clues are riddled out at possible outcomes. Truths and lies are spoken.

Why are men missing from the Wall? Was Jon Arryn truly murdered? What is happening in the North? Will the last of House Targaryen come for their birthright? Who will live? Who will die?

Can I give this more than 5 stars? No? Well it deserves it!
I was gripped from beginning to end. Putting it down was a problem, and with a book this size it does make cooking the family dinner a bit tricky one-handed! Some real 'gasp out loud' moments (one of which I tried to explain to my husband whilst he was watching the Vuelta. Unsurprisingly, it didn't go down well, but he's a tolerant chap after all these years with me!) and the usual blood and gore. I love this series, but if GRRM hasn't released The Winds of Winter by the time I finish A Dance with Dragons, I may have to have a little cry! At the rate I'm reading these though (because I keep getting distracted with other books), he has a while...

I liked this book - the beginning was super slow for me, the first half of the book actually - but then it picked up quite a lot and got exciting! Sometimes I love books like that, sometimes I hate them, depending on what the pace feels like in the beginning, this one was just plain slow to me.

I loved the dragon aspect of this book - it felt very how to train your dragon to me at some parts - which was all exciting and fun.

I liked Asha's fierceness and her just.. need and want to be independent - I really think this book had very well rounded heroes/villains - just enough to despise a few and love others - plus the dragons .. who cant love that. Just wish the beginning would have been just as pumped up as the end.
