A cinematic masterpiece of dark dingy intelligence
I love this movie even if it's hard to watch sometimes. I first saw it in the theater still drunk from the night before and my mind was blown in a very unforgettable way. But upon many sober repeated viewings it's still a brilliant film.

Sarah Betts (103 KP) rated Dear Sister (Sweet Valley High, #7) in Books

Ahhh, the Paper Cup Seduction Technique. Reading this book at 30 is a bit horrifying, because the last bit features Bruce trying to rape a drunk Elizabeth. Yeah. Of course, the book never uses the word "rape", but that's what happens.
Even worse? Nobody calls the police. Since Elizabeth had been behaving in a flirtatious manner, I guess they thought Bruce should get off scot-free.
NNNNGH!

The beginning had me hooked. Royally Screwed was a cute enjoyable read. I had a couple moments of laughing out loud.
Nicholas thinks he can have any woman at any price, but reality knocked the wind out of him when he enters a diner drunk.
Olivia is definitely a bad ass that doesn't take shit off anyone. Nick thought he could buy her for sex. Olivia shows him who is boss

Tonnes of Replayability
The Game That Does Not Blend In.
The Chameleon is a very simple game that requires between 4-8 Players. Although honestly, the more players involved the funnier it gets.
The game concept is simple; Everyone but one person knows a secret word (this word is on a tile with 16 words total. Each Player must go around and say a word linked to the secret word. Once everyone has said their word, you each go around voting who you think The Chameleon is. Should you guess incorrectly, The Chameleon wins.
Should you guess who it is correctly, The Chameleon has one chance to guess the word. If they guess correctly, The Chameleon wins.
This game being simple in nature is great fun to play either Drunk or Sober. And will spark many a debate about words.
All in all its worth buying, and has a great amount of replayability.
TL;DR
-Fun when Drunk or Sobre
-Simple
-Worth Every Penny.

Heathere' (25 KP) rated Drunk History in TV

Learn about history from drunk people
The premise is that the host, Derek Waters goes to the house of various comedians and they drink copious amounts of alcohol. The guest comedian then narrates a true account of an historical figure that they are familiar with but they are inebriated while telling the story. Meanwhile, actors, comedians and Derek Waters play the roles of the historical figures and 'lip sync' whatever the guest narrator says. This can be very comical as the narrator slurs, burps, stutters or messes up the story in some way. Each episode has 2 or 3 guest comedians and there is usually a theme to each episode, i.e. civil rights, the west, etc. Everything the narrator says is obviously not 100% accurate, however, the basis is. I have actually learned a lot about historical figures because of Drunk History because I look up things about interesting characters I didn't know about.

I love this, this is such an easy watch that you can't put down. eveything about it is so silly and funny that you just enjoy each episode, The different stories and plots with creature creation and all so imaginative. What makes this funnier is that the voice actor for rick is actually drunk for his performances as Rick
Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2086 KP) rated The Chocolate Snowman Murders (A Chocoholic Mystery, #8) in Books

When Lee goes to pick up the judge for this year's Winter Festival, she finds him drunk and a real jerk. Dropping him off in a hotel room seems like the best idea, until he is found murdered with Lee as the prime suspect. This is the seventh in the series and will certainly please fans of light cozies.

Fun Creature Feature
388. Grabbers. Aliens attack Ireland, must be for the women. One night off the coast of Ireland a piece of a meteor comes crashing down into the ocean, and with it, a multi-legged mouth essentially that seems to just eat anything alive that gets in the way, and its making its way to land. Story centers on a small fishing town that's about to be invaded, and the two police taking care of it. As with many stories of small Irish towns, most of the population are drunk, racists, oh wait, it's made by the Irish, so it's ok then. The two officers, O'Shea, an alcoholic, suffering from the past, and Lisa, who is there only temporarily and takes her job seriously... of course. They clash, they flirt, O'Shea gets jealous when investigating the creatures they visit a scientist dude that isn't shy about flirting with Lisa. So after a few attacks, randomly around, they come to the conclusion that they won't attack you if you're intoxicated, tho there is no evidence of this at all, except that the town's biggest drunk has survived, hmm. So the plan is to round up the town folk in the bar, get drunk, and wait for reinforcements. It was an amusing movie, definitely fits into the 'B-Movie' variety. Like I said though, the alcohol thing, only seems to work when the story needed it too, plenty of tipsy people were getting turned into snacks, then again it's not really a movie you have to think all that much about, my bad.
