Audiobook edition
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The narrator, Jenna Lamia, was an excellent choice in my opinion. She sounded just like I thought she should sound, and added a lot of emotion to the story. I admired the main characters strengths (all of them!) - they were all very strong female figures. They probably had to be in the situations that they all found themselves to be in. I'm not big on regurgitating what a story is about - you only have to look at the book description above, but for me, this was very much an educational story. Having been brought up in the UK, I have never seen any of the situations described in the book - not to the extent that they are here anyway. That's the privilege I have of being middle classed, white and living in the UK I suppose (although I can remember a black teenager being shadowed around a toy shop by a member of staff for no reason at all. When I pointed out to them that their time might be better spent stocking the shelves, they didn't seem to have an answer for me as to why they felt the need to follow one customer around).

Fabulously feminist, and a wonderfully fun read to boot
If I could give this more stars, I would.
Yes, I know the title indicates this book is for rebel girls. I am a mother of two fairly rebellious boys - but felt it was every bit as relevant for them as it was for females! After all, why shouldn't boys read about fabulous, inspirational women too?
This book is an absolute thing of beauty - 100 accessible, creatively written tales of women who helped to shape the world we live in. The illustrations are superb, and it hits just the right note with my two kids (5 and 7). They were initially suspicious that it was going to be one of those 'educational' books, but a few stories in and they were hooked.
People with boys, don't be deterred from buying this book, simply because the title indicates a female bias. It's so important that we start recognising the achievement of women (past and present) because they've so often been ignored - and both girls and boys can benefit from this. Also - a word of warning, grown-ups are likely to get a bit hooked on it too. :-)

I received a free copy of this short story from www.netgalley.com and the publisher, Randomhouse UK, Cornerstone and I wish to thank them for this.
I am only a little familiar with Temperance Brennan having read only one of the previous books - funnily enough, it's the one that's mentioned in this story - "the case of a body found in a barrel of asphalt at the Charlotte Motor Speedway" but it was a few years ago and I can't remember what it's called but I must have enjoyed it otherwise I wouldn't have remembered it!
Anyway, this short story will only take a couple of hours to read but it packs a lot in and not only is it entertaining but it's educational too - I learnt a lot about pythons! The descriptions of the setting made me feel that I was there - my hair even went frizzy! The characters, not only Temperance herself, but the "extras" were developed just enough to add to the overall interest and made me want to read more.
I enjoyed it. It was well written, had good pace and tension and a twist ... what more do you want from a story even one that is as short as this.

This book was very engaging. Most of it I'd already been told by my parents (I've explained before how they have a great marriage) but Couples Who Pray had the data and research to back it up. I was surprised to learn that many Christian couples don't pray together. I was also surprised at the changes in their relationships when couples started praying.
It was really neat to read all the stories and see how God works in His people's lives. There are lots of great tips for married couples, couples who are dating or engaged, and there is even a short section on praying with the opposite sex who you are not married to. Couples Who Pray was encouraging and educational, and every couple needs to know the information in here.
I felt like the majority of the book was trying to convince couples that it was a good idea to pray with each other. There were a lot of stories and basic instruction, but it felt almost as if they drew it out a little too long and kept going over the same thing in every chapter. Basically it could have been more concise.
Recommendation: Couples in need of a spiritual revival, or singles thinking about marriage in their future.

I thought this was an excellent read. It definitely captured my interest, as I had to fight to put it down to get some sleep last night, and managed to finish it in its entirety within the 36-hour mark. The story wasn't too technical to where I couldn't follow along, but still had enough jargon throughout to where I felt the characters were actually a part of the world the author was trying to portray. I felt the use of the date/time/location stamps was very helpful in keeping everything straight, especially when the characters and/or storyline was bouncing back and forth.
Honestly, this was probably not a book I would have bought for myself upon first glance, as I would have probably thought it too technical for my liking. However, I'm definitely glad I won the giveaway and was given the opportunity to read it, as it was fascinating and educational, as well, for someone who admits to having no knowledge of the stock market (or much of the cutthroat corporate business world) whatsoever. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good suspense thriller and mystery, or those involved in the types of business described throughout. They might find it a little enlightening. =)

Every want to learn a new language but it a bit hard to learn and remember. Well then this book is good for you and your family if they want to learn French. The book is called “Bonjour! Let Learn French” is a good beginner book for children and adults that have a hard time learning French.
You will lean some words in French like the days of week and Colors. It more of story with a learning guide to learn some words in French. You will learn “My Name is” in friend. You can act out skit in French with a friend or friends. You will also learn some words that goes along with beach and learning a boy and girl in French.
Think is really good to have on your child bookshelves or even in your child school so that they can learn new words and a new languages. It good for though that are going on trip and to have for your child or children learning the words while on a plane or in the car. Maybe your parent that want all kinds of educational books for your child or children. This book is good for that as well.
