Charlie Day

Del Toro's worst

Guillermo Del Toro is a fantastic director, but he really does himself a disservice with this film. It's an interesting story idea and the effects are pretty decent, it's just a shame the acting and script are awful. Charlie Day is beyond irritating in every scene he's in, and even Idris Elba doesn't come off well.

A pretty decent horror film based on the short story by Clive Barker, which is a bit Stephen King like. It's very bloody and gruesome but the cgi effects make it less shocking. Overall a very simple idea for a film well executed but the cgi effects are over done and the story is a bit too straight forward most of the time.

Remember watching volcano 20 years ago and being impressed by the volcano effects back then still think its the best part of the movie 20 years ago i would have given the movie an 8 but now a 6 its okay nothing special tommy lee jones is good rest of the cast okay its the lava that saves it

WOW! What a waste of time and effort.

Well, my review of being shoddy is due to mixed feelings. The story line up until the last 25 minutes was good. I like the cast. the soundtrack, sound effects, special effects and costumes. But that the main characters died doing the right thing I believe is below Star Wars.

Omg scene

I remember watching this on vhs when I was 20 years and been Impressed and grossed out by the some of the effects in the movie including that scene near the end of the movie the omg as I like to call it watched it now and I still like the film including that scene the shunt thumbs up
