Apart from the fact I get a little dizzy when I move too much while playing this on VR, I really like this platform game. You have to work your way through the levels of the worlds freeing and collecting your little robot buddies who are in peril and then beat the boss at the end of each world.

I liked this and it going back into the world of Wingman Inc--I still remember and love Ian--but I didn't end up enjoying it as much as the previous books.

I can't help wondering if Leo, Slater and Finn will end up with their own books. I'd love to see them fall for a special someone.

I quite enjoyed the first Weather Warden book ("Ill Wind").

The second ("Heat Stroke") was even better

Unfortunately, the third, and then the fourth ("Chill Factor" and "Windfall", respectively) were a bit of a let-down.

Thankfully, this is a return to form: picking up almost exactly from the end of "Windfall", this is faster-moving than it's predecessor, more engaging and more action-packed.

R.E.M. sang it best: "It's the end of the world as we know it ..." (even if, for some inscrutable reason, that track is missing from the authors' own suggestion of what to listen to while reading)

"I’m a huge, HUGE fan of animation — and that sequence at the end, when he’s on the little mini train, is even better action than Apocalypse Now. Nick Park is one of the most underrated action directors in the world. If he weren’t only interested in doing Claymation they’d have him doing every action movie. That is the best action sequence I’ve ever seen in a film. Talk about breathless action! And with the multi, multi, multi-millions of dollars spent on explosions — nothing is as great as that action sequence on the train at the end of that film."
