Have I mentioned how much I love Fairy Tales?

Well, I really do, especially clean, romantic, mentality stimulating, and engaging ones. Beholden hits all the right notes for me. The quote I shared above sums up and yet barely scratches the surface of the emotions and actions of the characters of this book. Vilmar and Gabrilella have such care for each other and the others around them, they are tested and grow visibly as characters throughout the book. I was sad to see the story end. You have no idea how much. But I am hoping the next book in the series keeps giving my glimpses of these two wonderful characters! And lets not even start on this amazing cover!

I could rave about this book all day, but Id rather you read it to! 5 out of 5 stars for this beautiful retelling of Cinderella’s Story.

Taking chance by Traci Wooden-Carlisle was a great example of its title; It is a book about taking chances. It is the second book in the Chances Series, but it can be read as a standalone. This is my first time reading a book by Traci Wooden-Carlisle and I loved her writing style, it is conversational and built with good detail.
Andrew and Pietra (Which is a cool name, but I had to look up how to say it!) is a classic unrequired love/friends to lovers’ type storyline that was engaging, heartfelt, and had some deep thought stirring moments. I enjoyed their banter back and forth, Andrews's culture was fascinating, and I truly loved Pietra’s patience with Andrew through everything. It was a good culturally diverse book that kept me interested and I did not put it down until I finished!

This book was so fun :)
I loved all the unique stories and the imaginary British accents in my head (Sigh..). The stories are a mix of mystery, laughter, intrigue, and faith. I truly enjoyed reading this mix of stories; plus I found some new to me authors to read! The characters in each story were engaging and I really didn't want to say goodbye to them. I loved the lessons that the characters learned and thought that they were well thought out and grew as the story progressed.
I definitely recommend reading this book (or books as its 9 different stories) at the next opportunity. I give them a 4 out of 5 stars for the diversity, the creative characters, and for giving me some truly happy smiles.
