This is the first book in the series, it is fun and clever but if you like happy endings look away now. The characters are engaging and Count Olaf is one of the best villians of all time.

This one was a lot of fun! The mystery was engaging with some interesting red herrings.

I loved the back and forth perspectives. This book had me dying to get to the end. I finished it in 1 sitting. Very fast paced. And very shocking ending
