A really good and engaging thriller.
Jake's a bit of a lad and a horrific motorbike accident doesn't seem to change much however, when women he meets and show an interest in him are murdered, he becomes the prime suspect. Facing a multiple murder charge, Jake needs all the help he can get if he's not going to be staring at the inside of a cell for the majority of his life.
With some great characters (not all of them particularly likeable), a growing sense of tension and some great twists and turns, the Butterfly Wheel develops into a really good and engaging thriller and my thanks go to the author and NetGalley for enabling me to read and share my thoughts of this book.

Brilliantly executed backstory of the devil of Hell's Kitchen and his battle with the kingpin (before he becomes the kingpin). Matt Murdoch splits his life between his up and coming legal practice and fighting crime on the streets of New York city.
Well written, acted and directed, this is very stylish yet gritty and engaging throughout.

Cliffhanger
The description of the book makes it seem like your typical romance but I can assure youit is so much better than that. Nichols takes what seems like a "plot in a box" and makes it her own with engaging characters and settings. It was an enjoyable read. So much so I had to get the next book.
Shaun Collins (3 KP) rated Doctor Who: Live 34 in Books

A familiar story told in an unusual way, LIVE 34 definitely plays to Big Finish's strengths. 3/4 of the audio is quite enjoyable and engaging. But a ham fisted last act bring this audio down a bit as it uses more exposition than it needs and flags because of it. For a more detailed review, visit www.travelingthevortex.com

"Thoughtful apocalyptic concept"
This novel mixes an apocalyptic scenario with real life dramas from a bygone era. The various narratives are engaging and the back and forth stories knit together all the different subplots. The fact that it surrounds a troupe of performers with a past history in the arts makes for a different kind of dystopian fiction.
Ross (3284 KP) rated Prison Break - Season 1 in TV
Sep 5, 2017
There is not a dull moment in this series. From the first episode to the last, it is not stop brain-scratching, edge of the seat drama. So many of Michael's plans are so complex and rely on so many moving parts that it is thoroughly engaging and thrilling.
They should probably have stopped at one series.
