Plot holes larger than the hole in his apartment wall...
What was he trying to do with that chicken wire?
Somewhat predictable and flat at times...
Good idea, poorly executed

Great cameos
Soundtrack is awesome
Great sequel, pretty hilarious
While I watch superhero films as a distraction, this was wonderfully fun and engaging. The graphics were phenomenal and baby Groot is literally the cutest thing in the Galaxy. The soundtrack is equally well chosen, from Cat Stevens to George Harrison, the music was spot on for the scenes. And the heartfelt story of the father-son affair was actually quite a tearjerker not to mention the great comedy. Fabulous all round entertainment.

Bad Moms (2016)

2016 | Comedy
Usual chaotic comedy
As with a lot of these American comedies, it's brash, over the top and totally in your face, with a dollop of moral ethics. A mother, stretched to the limits, decides to let go of being perfect and do what she would rather do. She is judged as a result by other mothers, insecure with their own issues of attempting to reach perfection. It's a little silly, and I switched off engaging after a while.

The usual Hollywood C-rate comedy.

I was surprised to like this book. I thought that it was a very sensitive subject that was dealt with in a way that didn't glorify cutting. It was a very short story, I read it in a few hours and I think it could have perhaps been a little bit more fleshed out (no pun intended)
But the characters were great and it was an engaging and difficult story.
It really promotes help, to not suffer alone.....a problem shared is a problem solved!

I finally got around to jumping on this bandwagon, and I can say I am very glad I did. The writing may not be as pretty or elaborate as some authors have been tending towards lately, but that doesn't in any way detract from this epic tale. The characters are all engaging (if not always particularly likable), the settings always imaginative, the histories well thought out, and the plotting twisty and exciting. An excellent book that has definitely got me hooked on the series.

In the current days of every movie looks beautiful and perfect, it is not enough for superb CGI any more. I, for one, am now spoiled by this and am expecting story to go along with superb visuals. I can think of many recent examples of this being the case none more than this one.

I had such high hopes and it was a disappointment. It had its moments of want-to-be greatness, but fell short on an engaging story.

Yeah, that one was pretty good in a Christopher Nolan pastiche sort of way. (Even if the actual language teaching was rather implausible.) On the whole I think I prefer Interstellar though.

Yes I liked Interstellar a lot as well. Thanks for commenting!

Great read
John Green has a talent for making his characters feel like real people with very real problems. Aza's struggle with her mental health is heartbreaking and engaging, but the true magic of this book is how her struggles also impact those around her. Davis and Daisy are both well rounded characters who have realistic reactions to Aza's illness. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who would like an inside look at the spiraling invasive thoughts that can be caused by mental illness.

I loved this book and series so much and honestly, there are very few writers who know how to world build as well as Laini Taylor does and her writing just sucks you into this amazing universe she created.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone hooks you in from beginning to end with its amazing characters and a plot that is engaging and just so well constructed even though you know where it's going you still just can't help but want to go along for the ride.

Enjoyable and catchy
I came late to this, after the hype had reached me and whilst I found it to be an exciting, enjoyable and engaging movie, I felt it didn't quite live up to the way it had been reviewed by my friends and family. That's not to say I didn't find myself tapping my feet and gunning along, just that although I will watch again at some point, I'm not going to be in the club who watched this hundreds of times a week!

Engaging storyline, ridiculously replayable. (0 more)
Some small glitches occasionally, as many games have. Also the multiplayer gets old quite quickly. (0 more)
A game set 20 years into the zombie apocalypse. You play as Joel, an old time survivor who is given the task of taking Ellie, a seemingly normal teenage girl, across the US. With a great script, some beautiful animation and scenery and a journey showcasing many different sides of a post-apocalyptic world, you get to decide yourself whether zombies or humans make up the real threat.
