"A small but epic book. Wills masterfully analyzes the Gettysburg Address in terms of its oratory and historical context. Debunking the notion that the 272-word speech was spontaneous or at least quickly written, he reminds us of how fastidious it was. For Lincoln, a man who frequently quoted Shakespeare and was well read in many areas, this was an opportunity to say a great deal at a crucial time of the Civil War. His brevity — the actual Oration by Edward Everett was at least two hours long — was stunning at the time but clearly no accident. Required reading."

Perfection. Long movie, but wish it was longer. Wish there were more deleted scenes. When i watched this movie, there was still no information that fans were getting Hobbit movies, so this really felt like an end to a very captivating journey. I literally felt empty. Throughout the movies, i felt like i was right there, with our favorite characters, on a journey. There were tears and there were smiles. Beautiful scenery where it all was filmed was mesmerizing. And i'm sure that the ending made everyone cry. I wish this journey didn't end, it was too good.

The third series of this "making of Batman" show takes something of a step away from the young emo Wayne, and allows more of the villains to start to develop. There is something that really appeals to me about seeing a possible origin story of each of these characters all intertwined, with that same "who is the joker" question at the back of your mind. While I feel the number of episodes is too high for the overall plot, giving the pacing an issue or two, I still really enjoyed this series, with some epic ham acting injected throughout.
