This is the fourth book in the ELE Series, and once again, the authors do not disappoint. The war between Willow and her friends and Zack and his minions has reached epic proportions, and they'll stop at nothing to take each other down. Willow's fighting for her family, her friends, her love, and her life, as Zack wants to sell her blood and powers to the highest bidder, while also keeping some for himself. He has to be stopped, and fast!
"Surviving ELE" is a wonderful continuation of Willow's story, as we see further into Zack's evil plot and Willow's relationships with her family, friends, and especially Tony. He's under Zack's control, and she knows she has to stay away from him, but how can she when he's the love of her life? I can't wait for what happens next, this is such an awesome series!

I have been given an opportunity to review the book “Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice” by Adam Makos. I read this 420 book in two days, day one was while I was receiving my infusion of Rituximab. “Devotion” inspired me. It melted my heart. It gave me an adventure to be a part of. I deeply enjoyed reading about the friendship of Tom Hudner and Jesse Brown during the Korean War as pilots. I enjoyed reading the other stories of friendship between the soldiers of the war. What captivating me the most is the friendship between Brown and Hudner. One was a share croppers son and African American and the other was a rich kid from New England. How did these two become such great friends? Friendship and devotion like this was uncommon back in the 50’s, but it happened. This book is just as wonderful as “Unbroken” and just as powerful. So worth the time to read.

By far and away, this is the best of the recent DC movies (though I haven't seen Wonder Woman). There is much more humour injected into it, that it finally feels like they've got something to rival Marvel films. It really feels like a normal, decent superhero film.
However, I didn't much like Jason Momoa and thought he lacked the personality to carry the role off and really needed Amber Heard to inject some life into scenes.
A fun enjoyable film but I'm not sure the final battle scene was necessary - why does every superhero film have to lead up to an epic battle these days? While the CGI made this visually stunning, I felt it was totally unnecessary.
And finally, I was so glad when Aquaman's mum's "trident" is broken in the initial challenge for the throne - it had 5 prongs so every time someone referred to it as a trident I wanted to scream.

The long awaited sequel (prequel) to red dead doesn't disappoint in the solo game, the story is an epic adventure travelling through the open plains to the growing towns and cities, railroads, carriages, and horseback are all ways of getting around the massive map. Build up your camp, help the gang, or rob stores and banks the choice is yours, you can even spend time fishing or hunting...
The cast of characters you meet are diverse, funny, serious, violent or just odd but whoever you meet, you do find yourself caring one way or another about the people in the game you interact with...
I will say I did struggle to get as engaged in the multi player game side of it, but that is just a personal thing as I do prefer solo gaming...
For shear enjoyment aspect and length of game, this is one of the best games of recent times.

As with any David Gemmell book the synopsis makes it sound like any one of a hundred similar fantasy titles. Man comes home to find village murdered and his wife taken by slavers but he has a huge axe and plenty of muscles, blah blah blah
But if there is one person who can turn something so absurdly cliched into gold, it is Gemmell. There are a number of factors here; he knows his weaponcraft so the fight scenes are grittly realistic, his characters are very subtly drawn with many layers and shades of grey. But the thing that always makes Gemmell stand out for me is the dialogue. When the characters speak, everything they say is not only completely in character but there are no cheesy lines or absurd speeches.
If you like your fantasy epic with a complex hero wading through a sea of adversaries for reasons of love and a sense of justice, this book will not disappoint

The Gang is all here
I love this movie, i have seen it about five times. The animation is fantasic, the story is excellent, the charcters look great. Everything about this movie is excellent.
The Plot: Life always seems complicated for good ol' Charlie Brown (Noah Schnapp), the boy who always tries his best against seemingly impossible odds. When the Little Red-Haired Girl moves into his neighborhood, Charlie Brown develops a crush on her. Meanwhile, his best friend Snoopy embarks on an epic adventure in a fantasy world. As a World War I flying ace, the lovable beagle pursues his nemesis, the Red Baron, while also trying to win the heart of a beautiful poodle named Fifi (Kristin Chenoweth.

It made me cry, which doesnt happen often when i watch movies. So that is a plus.
Its funny, adventurious, has a message, phemomemal and a classic.

An Epic Tale
A great story filled with characters from myth, legend and story books. After the detour in Salty Dog, Sea Breeze takes Quinn back to her original Objective to Find Jack and Stop him and if she can, Rescue him.
She meets up with a true hodgepodge of great characters and sails off on her mission.
On a personal note I think this is Cameron's best novel to date. I appreciate a book that takes the time to not only tell a story... but make me feel what the characters are feeling.
I really cant wait to get my hands on the next book and see what happens next!

Gritty and authentic take on the Arthurian Legends (3 more)
Feels like a true historical tale
Interesting characters
Gripping first part to a trilogy worth getting into
I would definitely recommend this Novel – the first book in the Warlord Trilogy. It retells the mythical story of King Arthur but in such a gritty and credibly realistic way, that it feels like a historical epic.
This story is told from the perspective of Derfel, a young soldier and loyal follower and friend of Arthur. There are many intriguing and complex characters that are woven into the tale. The battles are quite grisly, and things can be quite brutal at times, but I guess it would have been living and fighting through the dark ages.
As a Lord of the Rings fan, this is my next favourite ‘fantasy’ trilogy. If you liked ‘The Vikings’ or ‘The Last Kingdoms’ series on TV, I would highly recommend that you give this trilogy a read.

“Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” Need I say more? Well, yes, a lot more. Because the joy of The Princess Bride is almost infinite! Told as a fairytale to a boy sick in bed, who doesn’t like the slushy stuff, until he finds he can’t do without it. Peter Falk as the grandfather anchors this contender for most uplifting film ever made, but it is the detail of the epic love story between Buttercup and Wesley where we find true joy. Swashbuckling, charming, surreal and incredibly funny at every turn – it is possible to point to almost every minute as your favourite bit. The one film I would insist parents show their children. I have heard many people say this is their favourite film of all time, and I am not going to argue with that. Almost crying talking about it; do you want your romance to be above reality? As you wish.

The Fallout: The Franchise That Never Stops
Mission: impossible - fallout, is the six instellment of the mission: impossible franchise. So my rank of the films goes 3, 6, 5, 1, 4 and 2. This one is really good, the greater good is a highly steak. Plus you have Henry Cavill as the villian. So thats a plus and that mustache. Hopefully that doesnt get GCI away in anethor movie. Cough "Justice League".
The plot: Ethan Hunt and the IMF team join forces with CIA assassin August Walker to prevent a disaster of epic proportions. Arms dealer John Lark and a group of terrorists known as the Apostles plan to use three plutonium cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack on the Vatican, Jerusalem and Mecca, Saudi Arabia. When the weapons go missing, Ethan and his crew find themselves in a desperate race against time to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.
Its a great, excellent and phenomenal franchise. Alot of action, stunts, running, suspense and thrills.
