While in some ways a strange marriage, Dumbo has several Tim Burton elements: an evil rich guy, Michael Keaton/Danny DeVito/Eva Green, outsiders, people who don't get a lot of sun even though they live in a traveling circus. The most Tim Burton thing about it is when Dreamland is engulfed in smoke surrounded by dark clouds and Nightmare Island. The rest of the film is mostly live action Disney. Dumbo has Bambi-like doe eyes and except for the evil wannabe tycoon the humans are sentimental and protective of the kids.

Online Cards Against Humanity
Easy to get a game together. As you play you open up more and more cards and decks to play with. Nice way to pass an evening with friends both in the room and far from home.

A quick story: We had family in town. One of the nephews suggested we play Evil Apples. By the end of the night we had eight people playing in three different states. It was such a good family moment... based around horribly funny cards, thoughts and visual images that made some of us sleep badly - LOL.

Good job Evil Apples.

There are some mixed feelings about Resident Evil: Retribution and some have hated the film from W.S. Anderson and the first 10 mins have really annoyed people, but personally, I gave Resident Evil: Retribution a chance.

The opening sequence of the film starts with what happened just after Afterlife had finished, but the opening sequence is running backwards! Yeah I know bizarre, we find Alice in the water and then all hell opens up on the tanker, then just as we get to the point of the last film, it all starts flowing forward at the right speed, very nicely done.

The follow-up to the first Dwarves book sees the dwarves again join forces with the humans and now join forces with their age old enemies the elves to battle against a new source of evil.
There is a lot packed into this book with a number of stand-offs against the evil thirdling dwarves, the evil elves and an invading force from the Outer Lands.
For me at times it felt like the story was being made up on the spot with the overarching plot changing a number of times to suit the author's mood. At one point the feared enemy in the West was just a hoax by the thirdlings then it was real etc etc. There were still some good action scenes but these were in the minority here as so much of the book was taken up with politics and intrigue.
Something of a comedown from the first in the series.
